It was another one of QVC's glitches.  It seems to happen from time to time, most likely when they've changed something on the website.  And it often only happens for certain people.

It's fixed now, and those of us who had the problem didn't change a thing, so it wasn't on our end.

Agree @geezerette .  There were numerous posts about not being able to read reviews so many were affected.  It definitely wasn't something on our end.

They should have placed a two line message at the top of the Home Page.

"We are aware some may be unable to leave or read reviews. We will post an update when the issue is resolved."

Such a simple, easy, courteous way to keep customers informed.  But I guess they have bigger issues to deal with......🙄

@nascarfan

I've read a couple of posts that make it sound like some are practically foaming at the mouth if there aren't a few hundred reviews to read for each item.

Really?

Since some people have had zero problems (me included), I tend to think it's the customer's problem with their browsers.

JMO, of course.

Nothing was wrong with my browsers @Tinkrbl44  and I was not foaming at the mouth because I couldn't read reviews.  I always read reviews before making a purchase.

Many posters had this problem.  Lucky you that you didn't.   Your post is very dismissive of those of us that had issues.

@San Antonio Gal

Sorry, didn't mean it to sound that way.

The last few times I checked on a product, there were plenty of reviews.  Starting with trying a different browser seems to have worked when this happened in the past.

I hate technology, lol.

NP at all @Tinkrbl44 .  I was just frustrated when I couldn't read reviews.  Smiley Happy

No ignorance.

I see reviews just fine on Safari and Chrome.

Q very rarely acknowledges system issues. I don't see why they'd do anything else with reviews.

Have you cleared your cookies, cache, and history?  If not do that and restart your device. It might work.

You are able to google reviews too.

The problem has been fixed now.  The thing is, if people don't complain loud and long, QVC doesn't know there's a problem and it doesn't get fixed.  It usually takes them a while and no, they don't publicly acknowledge there is a problem (like posting on the website).

But if you still can't see reviews, I suggest doing as @CalmInHeart said and clear your history, etc.

Some posters seem to think that anything technologically affecting them is affecting everyone and a formal statement needs be made.

Please let me remind everyone here that we are a tiny percentage of QVCs "customer" base.  I use quotes because many here are not customers and proudly make that statement frequently.

Therefore, why would the IT department or anyone else give much thought to a temporary glitch affecting about .01% of their customers.  We weren't even all having the problem.

@Tori3569

You are assuming the inability to read reviews only affects those on this board. What about the thousands and thousands of purchasing customers who want to read reviews prior to making a purchase?
