Do you find any host that is knowledgeable about the products they are presenting?  For me it's Amy.

I think the Majority are knowledgeable. And some just Wing it ! 😂

I don't need " information " for a product. Just as I don't when buying on line or from a catalog. I do look for fabric content as I don't wear synthetic fabrics. I know pretty quickly if I want something .Hosts and vendors have no effect on my purchasing an item and go on way too long imo.

@Bonkers1  I don't pay much attention to the hosts and their names. Certainly not enough to have favorites. If I'm interested in an item I see online or in the app, I watch the video and read the description details. Sales people want to sell so that is always something to consider.

I'm in awe of folks here that know so muc about the hosts! I don't know 90% of them by sight and usually if someone here mentions a host I need to look them up online.

Not sure if they are knowledgeable or not. Since every product has a brand ambassador they really don’t need to know much other than to regurgitate what is being fed to them in their ear piece.

I think in the earlier days when there were very few brand ambassadors they needed to know more. I kind of wish we would go back to those days.

The hosts used to do a lot of studying before presentations.   Qvc had a reference library they used.  Some still do study aspects of what they're selling; others obviously know nothing and don't seem to care.

Well, many of the hosts might be very knowledgeable about the products, but some fail to actually COMMUNICATE that information clearly and correctly.

Many hosts are what I refer to as a one note song.  They host one type of programing.

Many, many years ago, while in the King of Prussia Mall, I happened to see a young David Venable walking down the stairs.  I wasn't going to interrupt his: he was picking up something quick for lunch and had a notebook that he was

quietly and intently studying.
