jUST NEED TO VENT. I ordered an item and it says in Florence on 9/1 EDD 9/10. All items ordered 2 and 3 days later are delivered or to be delivered today. I call CS and I have to wait until the 14th for a refund or another sent out.
It has not left Brown facility, it's lost, they can't do anything until the 14th to issue refund. They can sure charge right away. I thought they didn't charge until shipping. It was not shipped, still there lost. They know it.
The item not that important, IT'S THE PRINCIPAL WHERE THEY CAN'T HELP YOU. HSN AND AMAZON WOULD HAVE REFUNDED NOW OR SHIPPED OUT ANOTHER, EXPECIALY AMAZON. THEY HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE.
TWENTY SOMETHING ODD YEARS SINCE THE BEGINNING WITH THE Q, AND THEIR SERVICE AND PRODUCTS GETTING WORSE. AFTER THE ORDERS COMING, I'M THROUGH WITH THE Q. THAT'S IT. OUR BUSINESS NOT IMPORTANT, SOMEONE ELSE WILL TAKE OUR PLACE.

Okay, okay, calm down. I hear ya. I've had mishaps too and have 31 years with the Q. Maybe they are in some sort of transition as the CEO was let go. The Q is not the answer for everyone. As we problem solve here on this forum, maybe we can come up with a remedy or solution. ANYONE?

The remedy is to calm down. Unless one is getting one's heart medication, it is not that serious.
It sounds like it is a shipping issue. I have had things lost in shipping, and companies generally require a reasonable time for the shipping company to find the item before reshipping or refunding as, believe it or not, "lost" items are occasionally found. (I had this exact issue happen with Amazon.)
The comments on charging are ignorant, based on a lack of understanding on hoe credit/debit card transactions work. When an order is placed, the amount is authorized. When the item ships, the actual charge goes through. If the item does not ship, or there is a delay, the authorized funds are released back. Does one seriously think that anyone is going to pull items from inventory, box them, and label the package, before making sure funds are available? This is how all electronic retailers work.

If the EDD is 9/10 why do you have your panties all in a knot on 9/9? If you are that desperate for the refund you probably should not be buying in the first place.

I have been waiting for a refund from Amazon for 28 days, so their Customer Service is not so great either. Every time I talk or chat with them, they tell me I am going to get that refund in just 3-5 more days. I finally had to file a dispute with my credit card. I now just get to wait and see. I buy a lot from Amazon and have been a prime member for years. I have completely stopped ordering from them because of this. I doubt they notice or care.

Is that the information you got from the website from the tracking number, of is that information you received from CS?

Stuff happens.
I ordered an item and it was marked shipped. It didn't come and it didn't come. I finally called.
They printed the mailing label...that's all they did.
Considering the volume they deal with, maybe we're lucky things aren't worse.

Panties not in an uproar. If I couldn't afford it I would not buy, not one of those. I knew venting on here was a mistake. Sorry.
Info was from CS, web site also. Tracking shows still in Florence. Said was principle of thing.
