I'm happy to see someone post about Giving Tuesday. 

Very pleased to see my local animal shelter on Maui on the list.  Also a large senior dog rescue in No. Cali. that I follow and support, Lily's Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary. 

And representing PA and the east coat, I love the work that Flying Fur Animal Rescue does.  The owner of a small plane flys dogs from over croweded high kill shelter in the south to the northeast for a better chance at a furever home.

Please be part of this wonderful effort and help if you can. I wish I had thousands to give to them all!

@PA Mom-mom     Thank you for sharing the link.   I was able to make my donation easily and I always like having a matching entity to enhance the impact of a contribution.

I've head the promo for QVC's matching contribution and think it's very misleading.  They claim to match contributions up to $100,000.  After thinking about the potential outlay by the Q, I've decided it must be $100,000 total for all combined contributions, otherwise there is the potential for them having to match millions of dollars.   I know the Q is basically stingy and surely is not going to do that.  They infer if you donate $100,000 they'll match it but I don't think so.....  It sounds very generous but really isn't that big of a deal for a multi-million dollar corporation with millions of customers.
