At 4:30 am Friday, what I ordered from QVC on Monday arrived at my NY post office.  I was surprised when it wasn't delivered the same day.

This morning (Saturday). I had a tracking message saying the package had been forwarded to my current address.  But that's where I am -  and that's what's on file at the PO.

After a trip to the PO and a chat with the post master, I had a phone number to call because I hadn't brought the tracking number.  He found rhe package -  seems the local mailperson hadn't brought his list up to date and he was out for a day;  his replacement thought my mail should be forwarded to Florida!. Thank heavens that didn't happen.

I'm actually glad this happened -  makes me wonder what other mail might have gone astray in the last month.

I'm glad you got it straightened out.  This is a "wonky world" we live in lately in so many ways.

@kittykatkay It certainly is!   I wonder how many times it's one employee in a large organization that creatres the havoc. All the policies and safeguards don't mean a thing sometimes.

The Mail Innovations is so inefficient. I just checked tracking on two of my items, as of three days ago they were in Ontario, CA, only about an hour and a half from me. Two days ago they transferred them to San Leandro-that's in Northern California! Bypassed me, headed five hours north. What?! They have now been sitting there for two days. I honestly don't understand what is going on.
