I've seen that ad on Tiktok. Celebrities? I don't consider the hosts or Mally celebrities, rather they are simply employees of the company that;s paying for the ad.

Driving thru Philly, I've seen huge illuminated billboards with Shaun's picture and something about her being a host.

It's quite refreshing to see as oppposed to a huge lit up WANTED FOR HOMICIDE mugshot...

Of course QVC is going to advertise, why not? Consumers pay for the commercials/advertising for everything else from toilet paper to prescription drugs.

I noted the other day that they had a story on Shawn and a one page ad in First for Women magazine, Just received my Woman's World and they have a front page banner and the one page ad inside featuring Jayne B., Kim G., Sandra Lee and Alina Villasante (don't know who she is.)

Whenever or whatever it is, I am not interested. The only thing I want from QVC are quality items at reasonable prices. As the years go by, getting both on the same item is harder and harder.

There are SO MANY good things to watch on TV these days. I will never be able to watch everything on my list. No need to watch celebrity wanna be's talk, dance, sing, whatever, while still selling the same items that I can find on their website if I needed it.

Wondering why there isn't a 50 and Fabulous campaign for the gentlemen somewhere????

QVC and HSN has been such a big part of my shopping experience for so long, it's hard to imagine someone who has never tuned in to either station. However, among my family and friends, most don't. I wonder what percentage of the total population is currently a QVC or HSN customer? It will be interesting to see if all this new marketing helps bring new customers and new sales.

QVC sent me a glossy pamphlet in the mail and I received it today. There's a photo of the special, "fabulous" group of over 50 women. There's a special photo of Shawn. She says she is happy to be this age (in her 50s) because she can be so honest and therefore be a fabulous host for her QVC customers. Gag me with a spoon.
