QUESTION About The Lightweight Shark

Just got mine today and it's great in all areas but one.  The Persian rug in the living room looks better than in has in awhile, I think my Hoover didn't have the right suction after a few years.

It propels nicely but pulling it back each swipe is difficult.

Is this true for others?

Re: QUESTION About The Lightweight Shark

Is there any chance that it's set for hard floors, rather than carpeting?  (That's the only thing that comes to mind right now.)

I got mine at Target and thought it was the same, but maybe not.  I don't see a hard floor setting, but maybe I missed it.  I do have a setting for normal to turbo suction and that seems to have been the problem, it was set for turbo.

@Krimpette  Thank you so much!

Re: QUESTION About The Lightweight Shark

You're quite welcome.  I'm a big fan of Sharks!!!!  I have one upstairs and one downstairs.  Love them!  I gave my Dysons away as soon as I saw the job the Shark was doing.

@Krimpette

I agree, I've wanted one for a long time!  I never knew which model to get and it seemed there were so many of them in various stores like Kohl's and Target, then QVC offered them.

Target had them on sale the same day the Q featured it a couple of weeks ago.  I only chose Target because I thought I could return it there if necessary, I have a problem with one hand and a broken finger.  It turns out I can't return it to the store, but oh well.

The earlier Sharks were top heavy so I waited.  This one is wonderful.  It's the rotator with red trim.  Wow, what a great job it does!

LOL!  When I read the thread title, I thought you meant one of the people on Shark Tank.  Woman LOL  I was going to reply that I don't think any of them can be considered "lightweight."

Glad you like your new appliance.  :-)
