@shoekitty - I think the OP is getting back a little of what she dishes out.  I choose not to interact with her anymore.  I find her to be judgmental and a bit phony.  Awhile back, I couldn't figure out how to use the quote feature on a particular reply so I resorted to doing a screenshot and she gave me heck for it.

On a message board or forums like this there is no chat. That's usually a term used for a different one-on-one communication function and most commonly refers to a customer service interaction.

I think one "Qposter" thinks they're being cute.

I would definitely consider this place a "message board" or posting board.  

Everything posted is a message to others.

For me this is definitely not a "chat room", as they were called in early internet days!

It is very bad forum etiquette to change the title of a thread and the original post. You could have just commented that whatever problem you were having was now fine without altering the point of this thread. Considering the OP started another thread telling people how to use the forum I'd think that this basic rule would be followed.

Agree.  I find the cadence, characters used, emojis, etc, quite disconcerting.  And I don't think the moderators fixed anything.  There was no issue in the first place.  It's charades and games.
