I haven't been tuned into Evine...I have an account there, but don't check it out very often.  Maybe I should?

I have never seen QVC offer anything like that or coupons.  I must say that I do appreciate once in a while getting a 20% coupon from HSN and it does encourage to buy something with it when offered.

Last year they offered it twice- once in July and once in November, both of which I took advantage of. This year, nothing.

Maybe it's because they offered it to anyone signing up for a Q Card?  I remember getting a couple of emails about this and the last one offered a $30 gift card, if I signed up for a Q Card, but I passed.  I don't need another credit card and certainly not one as specific as the Q's.

Yes, it seems they are only rewarding their Q card customers now. Oh well, I am certainly not a sucker to sign up for a card just to get a gift card lol.

I love going to my local Costco where they offer gift cards to local restaurant vendors, $79.99 for $100 in gift cards. I don't have any friends who shop the Q, so giving them a gift card from here would be pretty meaningless. When I wear things and they ask me where I got them, if I say QVC, I just get a blank stare. I know, hard to believe, but true.

Why is it shameful that one of the biggest retailers in the world isn't going repeat a sales promotion????   That is what it was, it wasn't a gift....lol.   They are giving us quite a few everything on Easy Pay days.  That is a lot better than saving a few bucks on gift cards.

Did they have a special this year on QVC gift cards like buy $100 worth and get an extra $25?  Did I miss it?

thanks!

No they never did offer it this year. VERY VERY disappointed and I certainly bought less because of it. In fact, I've not bought a thing for Christmas from QVC. I did get coupon codes from Evine and HSN several times over the past few months and did buy a few Christmas gifts with them. QVC certainly lost out on my money this Holiday season.

How awful.  How many hosts will they lay off because YOU didn't buy a gift from them this year....lol

Only if you use the Easy Pay.  And I disagree with your logic, too.

If you buy a $100 item on 5 EZ Pays, it still costs you $100.

If you buy a $100 gift card and get an additional $25 gift card as a bonus.......you have $125 to spend.

To my mind, that's way better than Easy Pay!  (And the $25 card is a gift!)

@chrystaltree - No need to be snarky to the poster.  Obviously, it's not going to make a huge dent in the Q's profit if one customer takes her business elsewhere.  But it's also possible that others feel the same way and just don't come here to post.  We all (okay, most of us; maybe you don't) try to make our money go as far as possible, so a bonus gift card is nice.

This past month I've purchased gift cards from at least three retailers that I deal with just because they gave additional gift cards with purchase of a set amount.  Some retailers clearly know it's a good incentive.

Ha, this poster is known for the snark so no surprise there. Smiley Wink And there are many others on various threads that have said the same thing as I so they do lose money. Who know how or if it affects their bottom line but at least I feel better that I reward companies that provide incentives for my hard earned $$s. Happy holidays to you! Smiley Happy
