Some people are even grabbing purses from the door hooks--from the other side of the door. I've noticed that many places are now putting the hooks about halfway down the length of the door.

I was in a restroom this morning & came up with a kinda good idea. Why not carry a little purse holder that folds up and if you're in a stall without a hook, use it on the slide lock. I think I'm going to look for one & carry it with me at all times. Never hurts to be prepared. Some of the portable purse hooks are pretty. Looked at some at Amazon.

Half the time the bathroom door doesn't even have a lock on it or it's broken and I have to put my feet on the door to keep it closed. Then people look under the door and think no one is in there and try to open the door. Thank goodness I have long legs. LOL. Half the toilets are stopped up at large venues. That's the worse. Or there is no toilet paper in the stall and you don't know until you are in there. I carry extra everything.

YUCK! Stopped up public restrooms are a topic for a whole new thread. As are porta-potties. Don't worry, I'm not starting a thread on that. LOL

I hardly ever use public bathrooms but when I do I hang it on the hook on the door. I don't put my purse on the floor anywhere.
