Proud to be an American!

I am watching the citizenship ceremony on Today, and after the bitterness and hostility of the recent election, it is heartwarming to see the smiles and happiness of people as they become Americans. This is a positive reminder that we live in the greatest country on earth and that we need to pull together as a nation to work for what is best for all of us.

As we approach Thanksgiving, I hope we can all be thankful for our blessings and freedoms. I also pray that our leaders can work together for the common good and that we, as American citizens, can hope for the success of our leaders knowing that if they fail, so does our country; but, if they succeed, we will remain the greatest country on earth.
