After reading a review, do you tend to make the purchase, or decide not to? I have to admit, on Qvc in most cases, I do not make the purchase. I always change the reviews to lowest to highest to see what the bad reviews say first. It's a good way to cut down on returns.

I don't purchase much at the Q anymore, Jcnc...but that is a good idea. I used to read the reviews. But if a product is new and you like it and want to purchase it, I guess you have to take a chance. But, you do have 30 days to return.

I read the reviews prior to making a purchase if there are reviews. Just because they aren't good doesn't necessarily mean anything to me if it's one of those that people rate low about something that was clearly indicated in the description, etc. So, I weigh the negative reviews before deciding if they will affect my purchase or not.

IF I make a purchase from QVC or any other on line retailer, I read ALL of the reviews. I've read a lot of really stupid reviews..i.e..."my husband didn't like the shade of blue, so I returned it." This lady gave the dress two stars.

I used to pay close attention to reviews but some people's reviews have bordered on the ridiculous side.

I have found Amazon has the most detailed reviews out there. I can honestly say I have never returned an item I researched from Amazon...their buyers give such good detailed reviews I can tell if I will like or dislike an item.

If I paid attention to just the photos, no I would not buy a single piece of clothing from here!! Reviews do help up to a point-- mentioning how the item fits you and then giving your measurements as a reference help a great deal in deciding whether to buy or not. I think it also helps to know your body and what kinds of clothing work well for you.

I take reviews into account. If a number of reviewers say the same thing, I go with the assumption it's true. Like it shrunk, it faded, it ran small, etc.

Yes, I have decided not to order after reading reviews. Sometimes I can't believe the same product is being reviewed because you'll see half good and half bad ones.
