@LTT1

We decorated minimally this year because of my ailments.  It was easy to take down.  I think we did it the day after Christmas.

I did get a hair cut and manicure this week

Hey, at least you did the important things (g)

Then I decided to do nothing today, so I don't think I will procrastinate about that

@Mindy D.  If you had auto bill pay at your bank, you wouldn't even have to think about it as they do it for you.  Plus you save a ton on postage.

@Kachina624 @I have some bills that can't be paid from the bank. I would do auto pay for the rest, but last year I kept getting changes in the addresses where some of the payments are sent to. These particular bills get paid from my bank with the bank's check. This problem usually won't apply to my bank when the payments are  paid electronically, and auto pay for them might be a good idea, however, even these had changes in their payment information and I had to go into my payment accounts and update each of the ones with changes last year.

Never have been a procrastinator.  Everything I ever need to do has been done the day before.  lol   At 61, I just had my trust that I've had for years updated this summer, have a long-term care rider on an annuity, and have my burial plot purchased.  If I am ever caught not being prepared for something, it will truly not be my fault.

I feel your pain @Mindy D  I have never been much of a procrastinator till my heart attack.  WHY do I feel worse than before I had my heart surgery???  I do all my bill pay online, on my phone.  It's not like I have to go into the office, write checks, put them in envelopes, lick a stamp and take them to the mailbox LOL Before my HA, when I got a bill, I instantly pulled out my phone and scheduled the pymt.  Of course, this is a more recent way of paying bills.  I remember the days when I did have to write checks.  Right now I'm procrastinating cleaning the kitchen.

@monicakm You are still recovering.

@Kachina624   I have 6 bills every month that are auto paid from my checking acct.  Haven't mailed a bill in over 10 yrs.

2 credit cards.  When email statement arrives, I  auto pay balance that day.  Haven't paid interest in forever.

I have enough "moving parts" going on in my life at this point, so paying no attention to bills helps keep me as "calm and collected" as possible.

@Mindy D

But recovery was supposed to be no longer than 2 weeks.  It was Oct 3rd.  Three months.  I still have one vein at the bottom of my heart that has to be operated on but man, I kinda wish I'd never had this surgery.  I wasn't feeling any of this prior to my heart attack.

A few weeks ago I called my Dr to tell him the fluid pill was making me so lethargic, I couldn't put one foot in front of the other.  He told me I could get off of it.  Things were fine for 2-3 weeks and now I'm having breathing problems that I attribute to fluid build up around my heart.  I'm on day 4 of taking the fluid pills again but I'm still having problems breathing.  I would have thought it would be better by now.  I'll be calling my Dr tomorrow.  When I had my ECHO, I mentioned to the tech that I felt like I had fluid build up and asked him it the ECHO would show it.  He said it could.  He couldn't tell me what he saw (or didn't see) but he did tell me to stay on the fluid pill Smiley Surprised
