I should have had this package on Friday.  It was sent from QVC by UPS/U.S. Mail.  Okay, it's sitting at a facility about 5 minutes from my home for 2 days which is not normal.  Where is it now --  Hayward, CA.  There was a note at the top of the page when you track that read it was "mis-sorted."  I guess so because now it is over 2,000 miles away. Definitely a UPS mistake.  Cat Mad

I feel your pain.  I should have had a package on Friday.  It sat in the UPS facility for two days.  This morning it was transferred to the local PO and I will receive it tomorrow.  I hope.

With all the automation and all the policies companies put in place, I think just one person not paying attention to what they are supposed to be doing and the whole process falls apart.  Doesn't seem to matter whether it's shipping or driving or piloting a plane, it takes only one person to scr*w up the works.

So far, I've been fortunate with my Q orders.  Got my Germack several days early (and what I opened is far better than the reviews here in the Forums), but a few months back I received 3 Amazon packages that weren't addressed to me at all.  That was courtesy of a FedEx driver who didn't read the labels correctly - and then repeated the error several times.  So much for guaranteed 2-day delivery policies.

@Katcat1 I've had the same problem over and over again. Why can't packages be shipped through post office only. Maybe using UPS to post office is cheaper???

Someone else's package was in my box today, I put it back in the mail, hoping the right person gets it.

@SandPiper,   It definitely is a money saver and Fed Ex has one too with the U.S. mail and it is awful because it takes forever to receive your pkg.  Once it ships it takes 6 or 7 days to receive.  UPS way is faster with U.S. Mail but someone screwed up and now I have to wait.

Re: Problems with SHIPPING

[ Edited ]

I have one I should have gotten Friday or Saturday. It arrived at the UPS distribution point near my home on Thursday. Usually I get it the next day- or 2nd day if UPS turns it over to USPS. Nothing has showed up on the scans since Thursday. I don't know if UPS lost it or if they're hauling it across the country like yours? Hope it doesn't end up in California with yours...

@SandPiper  Of course it's cheaper!  Why else would they do it?  It's slows delivery a minimum of 2 days, often more.  Why can't packages be shipped UPS only?  I think the shippers are struggling to keep up with the trend for Internet shopping.  Recycling people can't handle the deluge of brown corregated boxes.
