Re: Probably just a coincidence? but its ironic....

might have related this already, but years ago I lost the brakes of my car while going down a HUGE hill. was on my way to pick up parts to rewire a lamp (my father often did this and made lamps out of many objects). While going down the hill without brakes or emergency brake, I wondered whether to run into the bank or just head across the street onto the railroad tracks. 'somehow' I managed to just turn around in the parking lot and head back up the hill. Living on the top of two hills, I kept going at a very slow pace in order to make bends, etc. Made it home safely. After calling to get the car towed to be fixed, my neighbor took me to the hardware store to make my purchase. Purchased what I needed and the change I received was $13.13,,,,,(part) of the # of my license plate, which is part of his homebuilt plane he had flown in. Hmmmmmm, says I.

Wow, that must have been scary for you...glad it worked out okay and you found a special message within it all!!

JMO, never a coincidence Many times when you miss a loved one they find a way to let you know their still around. I try to tell me husband this all the time. He was really missing his Mom one day he had the radio on in his car when a caller requested a song same1st name as his Mom, than he noticed the truck in front of him the companies name was her maiden name he also said coincidence. I said no your Mom was saying Hi.

I don't understand the inner workings of FB, but the things you describe sound to me like "signs". I believe that either a loved one who has gone on, or a higher power knows that we need to have "signs" or communications from our loved ones, and they get through if we are open to seeing them. The older I get, the less I believe in coincidence. I think everything that happens, happens for a reason, and I lean toward the fact that most things are predestined (although I still struggle with that one).

I'm glad you got a little "sign" on a day when you really needed it.

I understand the workings (if that is possible, cause it's always changing) of FB and I also believe in signs.

Your dad "heard" you and came to visit. I truly believe that.

To me, nothing is naturally or organically driven via the internet. Some may dispute my opinion, but that's their belief, not mine. The most synchronous and pure moments are outside, away from man-driven, manmade, man-ipulated, technology. Outside--there, alone--just listen, and watch, don't look for anything, let it find you. Put your head back, lie down and look at the sky, the clouds, the sun, all that passes by or hangs over you as Earth floats around in its safe atmospheric bubble through the cosmos.
