An observation: this Board is FULL of posts by people who claim they are estranged from their parents, siblings and even their own children. Yet Harry who has a wife, children & lives in a different country is faulted for NOT "being there" for his brother or father who also have their own families. But what's more unbelievable is the majority of the blame is placed at Meghan's feet as if Harry if not an adult 38 year old man.

I don't know a lot of people who still still lives in the area they grew up in as a child, married the boy next door and their entire family lives in neighborhood. An exaggeration maybe but sometimes it seems that's what ppl expect them to to.

The hypocrisy is unreal😶...

In the Oprah interview Harry clearly states that if it wasn't for Meghan encouraging him he would not have able to leave the royal family.

He didn't know he needed to be saved. @lgfan  then enter Meghan and she saves him. From what? The only life he has ever known. He will always be royal. She is just by association a royal.

Harry gave an interview years before on this very subject. He went through a period of separation from his family. He grew up realized what a privilege it was to be part of the royal family, and hence Happy Harry.

They will not b able to wear stilettos forever. Women who wear them nonstop will pay the price when they are older. They may be relinquished to lower heels, but she will enjoy them as long as she can.  I am so impressed that she has been gracious to Meghan and Harry...Prince Edward's wife, Sophie, lamented that her PR expertise was not accessed by Meghan. Instead, she hired a Hollywood PR firm that knows nothing about what it takes to be a Windsor wife. She said it takes thick skin, patience, and positive attitude, among others things. Sounds like Meghan could have used her expertise from day one. I sincerely hope Harry and Meghan will both develop a more mature attitude regarding Harry's family during this time and it will bring about some reconciliation. Harry has to be very overwhelmed right now, emotionally. His birthday was yesterday and I read there was hardly a mention of it...although he is a grown man, I am sure it would have been very nice for someone, anywone, to say happy birthday and they are glad he was born.

Quite possibly it's what might have attracted him to her in the first place.  He might have been looking for an escape hatch but didn't know where to start having been born into the "firm" and all that jazz.

So Harry wanted a scapegoat to blame for him leaving the family. That makes him look even worse.

Kate Middleton is the epitome of royalty, lovely and elegant, gracious and intelligent.  But her best qualities are her compassion, her rapport with people who come from all walks of life, her love for her family.  She does bring much class to the royal family.
