is coming back for Trooping the Colour and Rememberance Day

The above photos are from  Trooping of the Color event on June 15th of this year.

This weekend's events are more somber Remebrance events for those military who have passed in the wars that really ravaged Britiain.  Somber clothing is in order, ceremonies and wreath laying at the Centotaph, the War memorial in central London.

Today, Princess Catherine was photographed at the Festival of the Remembrance performances at the Royal Albert Hall in London. 

This weekend is, of course,  in concert with the US Veterans Day observations and events.

She looks well in this photo,  lovely and animated.

It was heartening to see that she was making the effort for the very important Remembrance events, and she does look good!

King Charles has been out and about also-- I think for honoring Olympics and Paralympics (sp?) althletes.  He looked surprisingly chipper too.  Wishing improving health to both of them.

She is so lovely!  I am delighted she is doing well for her sake as well as her family.  She has an inate grace which always shines through.

On Remembrance Sunday,  the Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Edinburgh.  Catherine's 3 poppies are said to be in remembrance of her great-grandmother's 3 brothers, all lost in the First World War:

King Charles, the Princess Royal, Prince William, Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh-- 

With his beard, Prince William is looking a little more like earlier royal relatives of his, like bearded King George V, or even Russia's Czar Nicholas....  He seems to be maturing in his looks.
