Agreed, @SharkE --   I'll never be the faithful royal observer that you have been, and are, but certain events, with their historical echoes, do draw me too.  I'll be right there with you, watching a king get crowned in an ancient ceremony!   Will be interested to hear your commentary on it.

The clothes and jewels should be pretty good too, ha.

I missed the article on those two little scamps--  they seem to have a little more leeway to be "free-wheeling",  with George more sedate, I guess...

@Oznell

Princess Charlotte, had she been the eldest of the lot, might have been a great QEIII.  I think her great grandmother was impressed with  her tenacity and assertiveness.

Oznell   By the way did you see on The Daily Mail where Kate and Charlotte was doing a walk about and somebody handed Charlotte a bouquet and the Princess's bodyguard just offered to take them from her as all the Royals usually just thank the people and hand them off to whoever is accompanying them.

Charlotte wasn't having it when the female bodyguard reached out to take them Charlotte wouldn't give them to her and turned and walked away.

The bodyguard just took a step back and put her arms behind her back and had an expression like 'uh, ok".

Charlotte has a mind of her own and I won't live to see it, but, boy, she is gonna be a force to be reckoned with.   She's The Boss.

Also, in that clip it shows Louie getting left behind and he looks ahead and the rest of them have gone on, he takes off on a run holding flowers I think it was or may had been drawings and hollers "CHARLOTTE, CHARLOTTE". The crowd goes "awww". He's always the show stopper.

He's a cutie !

Prince Louis won over crowds in Sandringham for his first Christmas Day walkabout with the royal family.

Prince Louis was a hit with crowds of well-wishers at Sandringham yesterday

Following the Christmas Day Service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Norfolk estate, the young royals Princess Charlotte, seven, Prince George, nine and Prince Louis, four, met well-wishers

Louis,4, the third child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, proved to be a highlight among royal watchers, where he was seen shaking hands with well wishers.

A handshake from Louis! The young royal followed in the footsteps of his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, to meet well-wishers

The four-year-old then handed the drawing to his mother to show a young royal fan

In another moment during his debut outing, Louis was seen chasing after his sister Charlotte, shouting her name before handing her a bouquet of flowers.

The sweet Twitter clip shows Prince Louis, four, running up to his siblings on the way to St Mary Magdalene church on the Sandringham estate yesterday

Prince Louis catches up to the rest of his family, so he could give Princess Charlotte a bouquet of flowers, that was given to him by a royal fan. In the video, uploaded to YouTube, the crowd was heard saying, ‘Awwww!’ as they watched the sweet gesture unfold.

I am guessing Diana didn't have the freedom to just select her wedding gown. I am sure there were several people involved in making sure she followed the required look for such a big occasion.  I am looking forward to the coronation. None of us were around to see the Queen's coronation. I love all the pomp and circumstance.

It would be wonderful if Princess Eugenie as a boy this time but healthy is the most important.  As for Charlotte I think she as a lot of Princess Anne in her.  I cannot wait to see her grow up.

Wishing her well. By the way, Eugenie already has a boy, August. Her sister Beatrice had a daughter, Siena.
