Such a cute fellow. Each child is different, and if you read about birth order, he seems to be a perfect examp!e of the youngest child. Let him be a kid; he'll be grown up before you know it.

@Lakelife62 I am SO glad you posted what you did. The whole topic makes me cringe....the very idea of hitting a child....and then defending it as "parenting" is unconscionable.

ITA ....  the idea that some people still spank their kids is scary.

Makes me wonder about the violence and rage some young adults display.  Did they get it from being beaten as kids?  

Read the news on any given night, and we see that a lot of parents still have no idea how to parent.

I see no justification for a big person to hit a small child. None. Ever. Why would a parent want to cause their child to fear them?
