@lulu2 wrote:They are a beautiful young family. I could not help but wonder why the little princess was bare armed when everyone else had on long sleeves. (her brother had on a sweater) When they showed the crowd gathered to see them, many people had on jackets.
We've seen the princess in this style dress before with a little (cashmere) sweater over it. It must have been chilly.
The red cocktail dress Kate wore to a reception was stunning.
I'd be thrilled to high 5 PM Trudeau. I find him quite attractive.
I was thinking the same thing when I saw the photo of them getting off of the plane.

How precious is Prince George standing on the books? Such a precious little boy. Look at that smile! I love this photo!

And I love this one too! People are saying that Princess Charlotte favors her Grandmother the Queen. These are all such cute children. I love the way her great-granddaughter is holding the Queen's pocketbook!

@sunala and anyone who may be interested - The Royal Mail (UK equivalent of USPS) issued a set of commemorative stamps and First Day Covers a few months ago, and the used the top photo, among others. Nothing was very expensive. You can google "Royal Mail" and find them in their site. I also went for the Shakespeare's Anniversary ones.

@occasionalrain wrote:Prince George is nothing like Diana. He neither looks like her nor behaves like her. Why does she have to be dragged into every thread about this family. I just don't understand the Di obsessed; would they wish to have every event of their lives overshadowed by a long dead MIL?
Thanks for the laugh, if you didn't know any better you'd think they are the only children to have ever been born.

@Sweet_Serenity I absolutely agree with you. There is nothing at all wrong with this thread. It's amazing what people will pick at. The little prince and princess are public figures as their parents well realize. William and Kate have seemed extremely responsbile about allowing photo shoots - or not - as they see fit. William seems to well understand his role as a royal and thus understands his children's role also. I think they are terrific parents. Nobody here is bashing the children so I don't see a problem whatsoever. Public figures, appearing in public - why not discuss the photos?
My favorite of George is when he shook hands with our president while Geo. was in his monogrammed tiny bathroom. One for the history books for both countries.
