NYDJ = Corduroy Pants over $80.00 is anyone buying this brand of clothing? Kim Gravell, Susan Graver, Isaac etc. say their items are a steel. Prices are outrageous.
Yes, I know I can stop watching.

@Catastrophe. I see the same or higher prices in the fall catalogs I'm receiving so I think it's not just a QVC thing. I've drastically reduced my shopping and don't need anything anyway.

I used to buy a fair amount of casual clothing from QVC, but I stopped.
Reason is, sizing irregularities and I got stuck with the return shipping. Too much out of pocket costs wasted.
Yes, the prices are up, but it's still a good source for considering styles you might want to buy.
More than ever, this is the time to carefully comparison shop ... and wait for the sales.

I'm not paying that for a pair of pants.
I have plenty of clothes I can wear. I don't need NEW clothes.
We are keeping our money to go places & do things we want.

I find it liberating to come to that conclusion. Just recently took inventory of clothes and shoes, I don't want any more, have a great classic wardrobe to fit my needs.
I've even cut back just about completely on kitchen supplies. Also have stopped ordering food on QVC. Finding going to a fancy gourmet shop and ordering small amounts is very satisfying.

They're HIGH indeed but the Q seems to have found the range between 60 and up viable
for them.
I'm sure Macy's and many high end retailers are the same so there's no big surprise.
Simply don't buy. That's the antidote. Don't purchase. Consumers have the purchase power to control the market by simply saying NO.

Yes, I am. NYDJ are my favorite pants and I have several pair from QVC and other places. They're usually over $100. It might help you to understand how others are buying if you keep in mind that QVC is size inclusive. I, for one, can't just walk into any store and find my size in items I like. At QVC I can buy anything I like, as they will have my size.

I didn't buy these pants, I bought a pair of the NYDJ Teresa wide leg jeans for $119.

NYDJ has a pair of jeans on the QVC website for $129 that were sold Nov 2023 for $69 . Not sure if they were a TSV

The only corduroy pants I own are Quacker Factory...LOVE them. I have most of the colors. Since I lost over 120 lbs, I went through the sizes like crazy as I lost weight. I tried to stick with buying when I would drop down 2 sizes at a time instead of one to save money. Additionally I was extremely fortunate on the timing of my weight loss to being able to get replacements. I'm very grateful QF had them available for many years so I was easily able to replace them. At the top end I wore 2X in QF pants. I now wear the XS.
It cost a fortune as it was, but it would have been a lot worse. The majority of my replacements were from Ebay, QVC 'As Is' and when I REALLY wanted a particular color/size and it wasn't available elsewhere, I would buy it at the QVC price before it sold out and hoped for a sale price within the 30 day time period. Most times I was lucky.
I would say each pair on average was $20-30 ![]()
