Here are some more choices from the same place, and the pictures are exactly what they look like. I don't go here often, but when I do, it's ALWAYS good and has been for more than 25 years (although we did have a disagreement about how many dipping sauces they're allowed to give){#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} Been eating here from time to time for 25 years and I'm still alive and kickin':

I'm very suspicious of fast food and their profit margin. That's my concern. I don't eat this kind of food due to corporations putting profit ahead of quality. I've heard and read so many 'horror' stories about this. Good luckSmiley Happy

I could NEVER make fried chicken as tasty as Popeyes.

In fact, I don't want to ever make fried anything at home...too messy.

I am always surprised by fast food prices, because I am not out and about much, and go long periods of time between buying any. Last week my family was in the mood for Arby's roast beef sandwiches; I bought 8 of the smallest ones and paid slightly over $28-----just for the sandwiches, no fries, no drinks. With what I spent for just sandwiches, my husband and I could've eaten a sit down meal at Bob Evans or Cracker Barrell.

I was at the supermarket this afternoon and got one gallon of whole milk, store brand, $3.79, one loaf cheap white bread $1.97 (on sale) and one dozen eggs $2.14 for a total of $7.90, Fast, slow or in between there is no inexpensive food.

That's true Marp. But a gallon of milk, loaf of bread and dozen eggs equals many more meals for the money compared to only one at a fast food place. It is getting more and more challenging to find good healthy groceries to put a meal together, let alone buying other household products. So many things have increased in price but our paychecks haven't kept up.

Coupons are your friends. I don't eat much fast food but once every couple of weeks or so I'll indulge in a fast food meal and I almost always use a coupon and save about half the full retail price. Burger King, McDonalds, KFC/Taco Bell, and other chains almost always have coupons in our local flyers/papers and you can save a ton by using them. I keep a few in the car so anytime I'm out and get peckish I can just grab something and go. I typically hit the local Burger King and it seems like everyone going there has their coupons in hand. Watch for the coupons, save them, use them, and you'll save a ton of money.

Fast Food is one of my eating addictions I've almost conquered over the last several years. Honestly? I wish they would double, TRIPLE the price of fast food. Might make us think twice about eating 'meh' food for $$$.

We've given up on fast food. The quality is always disappointing and the price is prohibitive. The only thing that still interests me? Our local independent pizza places.

Must be another sign of old age, but I swear I remember there was a time that fast food tasted really good. Carl's Jr., Chicken Delight, Jack in the Box, McDonald's, Wendy's, and dozens of regional places.

When I was in elementary school my mother would occasionally give me money and I'd walk to the McDonald's on Clark Street in Chicago and buy a burger, fries, and a soda. I can't remember now if I'd get an apple pie, too, but I do remember it all cost like $1.06.

God, I'm old.

ETA:

I'm really old! It was a Filet-O-Fish I'd order and they always cost more -- and it still was $1.06!

Unless you have coupons or you are ordering a budget menu selection, ordering a la cart fast food has never been inexpensive.

My husband and I were out the other day and he wanted a milkshake, so we stopped at McDonalds.

I could not get over the prices of the meals. They are no bargain IMHO.
