There used to be some price gouging in Texas by plumbers after one of the rare very hard freezes.  Pipes are in attics there, they freeze and burst and people have big messes and no water. 

 

The state's attorney general was very aggressive about filing charges against gougers.  They wouldn't put up with that nonsense.  Don't mess with Texas!

the AG Pam Bondi is going after these people aggressively so hopefully they were reported.
