Never been polled or even asked my opinion on the elections or any candidate. I honestly don't think the polls indicate anything in the real world. Election day will be the true test of what people believe.
If I were to poll the people in my area one candidate would win by a landslide. If I polled my daughters area, the other candidate would be on top and win. I

Polling is relatively private, so I can't see any motivation for a person to lie about their preferences.
Perhaps relatively private ..... but not always, or completely or necessarily accurate. I will not give my opinion over the phone to anyone. I will not answer any poll on line (they want you to give your email addy). I don't lie about my preferences, I just won't give them. As far as having a throw away email addy for such things.... they can be tied to your IP addy and can be tracked back to you. There actually is motivation for a person to keep these opinions to themselves.

Yes I answer the phone and will participate in polls. I like when they tell you upfront how many minutes it will take. That way I can decline the ones that take more than three or four minutes.

Oh, I watched a little of it and read things from a distance but when you have close to 20 candidates in the beginning it was a little too stupid. I did vote in the primary but from here on out - I will not be watching the circus this election process has become. As for now my mind is made up anyway.
