Anne's issues are her own. 

 

I wouldn't do anything in secret either.  Anne has to figure out a way to deal with it.

OP, do you have any training in the medical issues involved?  If not, you shouldn't be advising either one of those women on anything.


"Fran" the pregnant one is not being shunned.  "Anne" the one who chose not to follow the plan appears to be upset by "Fran's" pregnancy. 

 

I think the plan to do any celebrations in secret is not a good idea.  The suggestion to leave Anne alone about the diet is the best idea.
