It's finally a little warmer here today too.  Still feels chilly with the breeze, though.  I think tonight will be the first night I won't have to leave the faucets running. 🤞

You take it easy and find some goodies to munch on while you're watching your men skate.  And some Coke, too. 🥤

@Yahooey @cowboy sam @geezerette @PamfromCT : We're in a heat wave with 53 . However, our location in the cul -de -sac( spelling) , we are the only ones with snow still in the yard. Everything is close to the front door and in front of the garage door.

I am worn out and hurting. Busy putting everything back in place in the family room and rearranging everything in my middle room. Trying to get organized for the dreaded tax stuff. DH needs to get his new printer set up. I ordered my needed desk supplies.

We finished the soup today  and I'm making chili for tomorrow (cooking on the stove top now). Purchased everything  for hot dogs. I am doing as little as possible for tomorrow. I wanted to get everything done because the cleaning ladies are scheduled for Tuesday.

I ended up washing a second load of clothes,put everything away  or on hangers to dry.

Son  and grandson brought me 10 gallons of Great Value spring water-  took 8 down to basement..put 1 in fridge  and another one in kitchen.

Also brought me 2 loves of Sara Lee wheat bread.  I paid grandson for them  as i tried paying son  and he told me that his son paid for my items.

I hope i can sleep   next few tonights    as my oldest son  and his health is worrying me...

ON his b-day Monday the 27th sees his  cancer doctor again plus either blood work or PET scan to check his thyroid.??..he expects to have his chemo medication  changed as his numbers were so high last month.

He thinks his  higher white blood cells count numbers was caused by stress   i hope  and pray its not because of his CLL🙏

Tuesday..painscake sis's neighbor  and" my friend"  has a PET scan   the 28th to see if her cancer has spread to her kidneys or not.🙏

sigh!

Maybe, if i didn't enjoy walking with my neighbor  to exercise my hips,and legs,etc  and chatting with her...i might nave ordered it.

I don't know if you remember a exercise item called" The Wave"  a few years ago...i ordered it from theQ  or HSN....i can't rem. which one....well i used it for a while  but with my also being short and short legs,

was afraid i would lose my balance  moving back&forth on it and fall on it  or on my floor  and get hurt!   

Mine is the  orginal larger heaver " Wave" model... later  theycame out with a smaller  and lighter weight version of it.

Well,

I got it back out  the other day and have used my new Jetti weighted  2 walking poles  for balance-one in each hand of course  and i find myself exercising my legs and body  on it again...."without" the fear of falling off  and getting hurt So the old is new again to me  to use...lol

Weather for today will be in 40's  but strong winds this afternoon!

My football team won yesterday  and sorry if it was your team that lost

Today is my oldest sons birthday   but i feel older also

I will be waiting for him to call me after he has his doctors appointment  to update me on his health  and if meds need changed??  or????

Otherwise no plans for the day except walking later with my neighbor .

@cowboy sam : I totally understand. You are Blessed to be able to go outside and walk.Enjoy your walking poles.

I almost didn't order the new cubii  but after a lot of research decided the price and free shipping was a very good deal. DH can move my old cubii but with his fibro it is difficult. I use my back brace to put it on my walker seat to move but very difficult to do and hurts.I am trying to stay independent and only ask DH for help with the things I can't do. I use the cubii  in the family room when I am in the kitchen cooking and need to take a break. But when the cubii  was in the den and watching football and movies with DH the time went fast and more fun.

dear preds and friends

Oldest son called to give me up date from his doctors visit  this morning...dr. wants to have him "not" take his chemo pills for a "month"...as sometimes meds can cause the higher white blood cells!

Then dr. will decide if he will change meds for him  or not.

He finally has gained some weight  but i didn't ask his weight now...i'm just so thankful that he did!

I hope my friend gets good news Tuesday  after PET scan!🙏
