When I was in college and in  my political science class wrote article on then Jimmy Carter. The professor read my article to the class and everyone laughed. The professor had also written and published book on Mr. Carter. Then the election.

@cowboy sam : I have misplaced two Walmart gift cards for $125. When we opened gifts, got cards together and put in my bill paying book in a brown envelope.

Busy paying bills this morning and decided to add the Walmart gift cards to my account on line. Cards were not in my bill paying book. 

Our garbage was picked up early this morning. I have looked everywhere: under and beside my recliner. Praying the gift cards will be found later.

I hate the stress of trying to find something misplaced etc,!!!

Did you write  any checks  out  and put into  any other envelpopes??Wondering if could have put inside a differenet  one??

I had checked even  all the pockets in jeans,coats,house robes,etc.plus garbage bag,boxes from other gifts....and in my case i just felt like they were not in my house  and i was right! SMH!

To make things right for daughter  and the "Columbia" brand  no show socks  i  had ordered   for her  from Walmart  that were 2 small for her swollen feet - they were ladies sized!

 I went onto "Ebay"  today  and found the same ones " like" i found at Goodwill .... that were  same 2colors  and  was a brand new   pack  of 2 i bought her and   fit her  good and she loved them  before Christmas!

The ones i found  today was a" pack of 6"..same 2 colors..3 prs black and 3 prs grey, no show ankle socks   .   in "mens large size "    but will fit her

Plus they were $9.00 cheaper than what i paid for pack of 6 ladies size  on walmarts website  that were too small for her...so i claimed them...they are sooo comortable...! 

So i ordered them for her  and will be delivered around Jan.06.

Good luck finding your misplaced gift cards🤗....could your dh  put them some where else for safe keeping??

I certainly hope you find those certificates.  My DH got a certificate for some bird supplies from a local birding store from our DH.

It was presented in a tin box, decorated even on the tin top.

Tiny, but I thought what a great idea + that would be hard to lose.

The box was provided by the store. Wouldn't it be nice if all stores did that?  Oh, I misplaced my wallet the other day and was in quite a tizzy until I finally found it. I need a maid, I think.

Just came on this am and was hoping you would find those cards!  I really do. Or know why they do not make them more obvious!  I have lost a couple over the years, and it is a bad feeling.  I hope they show up!

Read your wonderful tribute you wrote about your lifelong friend once again.  You both are both loving and generous, which is why your friendship has lasted so long.

Aa far as your college class, I do not understand why anyone would laugh at Jimmy Carter. We have always loved him in this house.  Imagine if every politician had his character and just plain goodness.

I lose things in this house because Winston has a habit of chewing on things.  Yes, like a puppy.  So anything that smacks of leather or such has to be hidden away,  In so many ways he is like a puppy.  But we love him so, and he brings so much laughter to our home.
