@cowboy sam : No Amazon vans in my area. Amazon packages are normally delivered by UPS but more often UPS transfers packages are transferred over to the Post Office.

Much cooler today , 77  and cloudy with rain predicted later this afternoon and evening.

Good Morning Y'all. Cleaning crew today was better. Really better job on cleaning the kitchen and kitchen sink. Apparently when they dust: just the tops of surface. In the den : DVD cabinet, just dust the top and not the front. Last week didn't dust the DVD cabinet or the table next to my recliner.

This team also failed to clean the vanity faucets in the hall bathroom, that is normally used by visitors.

Glad to hear you got a little better cleaning job today.  Although I'd rather have more things cleaned than get fancy designs on my TP and paper towels.😂  

Maybe you need to instruct them on what's important to you to have cleaned.  I think whenever we have outsiders doing jobs for us (at least nowadays), we don't get everything done the way we'd like.  I sure don't.  Have them concentrate on what's most important to you and DH and try to ignore the rest.

On another topic, I think I remember you saying that you'd decided not to pursue a wheelchair or scooter.  But I don't know if you've noticed or not, QVC has a scooter as a Big Deal right now.  #V83417  If nothing else, you can take a look and use it as a comparison if you ever decide to get one.

@geezerette : Totally agree more cleaning instead of wasting my paper products for art. I am suppose to communicate with the owner about any issues but didn't make any difference after the first visit. Of course my widow friend stated that I was too picky and expecting too much: told her just wanted a good job done. Another friend that previously had a cleaning service stated the bathroom and vanity and faucets always cleaned. 

I have appointment with my orthopedic doctor on Wednesday afternoon and will ask for evaluation for wheelchair and scooter. I will look at the qvc deal, thanks for the information.❤

Hi Y'all. The new call blocker was delivered and installed two hours ago.The phone no ringing but about time for the evening spam calls to start. Waiting .

The 20 ounce tumbler that I ordered was supposed to be delivered today.🙄😯

I don't think you're being too picky to want your faucets cleaned!

I guess the reason the owner wants you to contact him/her is because they're afraid if you direct the cleaners you might end up getting more work done than what you're paying for.  Still, it seems a very inefficient way to do business if the customer isn't satisfied.

It's really too bad you can't find an independent woman to come in and do what you need done.  But people have been complaining about good housekeepers being hard to find for years so it's not a new problem.

Still, I'd keep my ears open in case you hear of someone that may suit your needs better.  At least you're getting a little done--better than nothing.

Fingers crossed that your call blocker eliminates your spam calls.  And that your tumbler comes today. 🤞

@geezerette : I totally agree. I have told everyone if they know or hear about a good independent cleaning lady to please let me know.

I told DH this morning that I wasn't going to offer a tip. We do as the owner requested to lower the thermostat. We always offer them water to drink.

Phone still quiet. DH hasn't gone down to the mail box and thunder storm and rain just started.

My cooling blanket is supposed to be delivered Thursday.

The shoes were delivered and one pair fit the little foot. Ordered another pair for the right foot. The price was still reduced but not as good as prime day but a 15 % coupon helped and better than full price. Trying to stay positive.

Good Afternoon Y'all. The call blocker is working. Only one phone call last night and one call this morning. This morning 5 more calls but phone didn't ring but showing call blocked. Yea!!!

Friend from Alabama will be visiting Saturday instead of Monday.

Rain predicted for this afternoon.

Paid bills this morning. Doing nothing else today. What will y'all be doing today?🤗❤❤❤🙏🙏

@geezerette : Thank you. DH was really irritated with the excessive phone phone calls and we couldn't take afternoon nap.Some nights were are up late because I can't get comfortable.
