Returned from Ohio yesterday evening. Short visit with DD and doctor's appointment.

@loveschocolate ...It is so good to see your post!...I bet it is beautiful by the lake as the leaves gradually change and the personality of the lake changing also with each season...I remember the lovely picture that you posted overlooking the lake and I can imagine the scenic views during each season.

I was up early for blood draw  and got there early  and out early for home ...plus 2 hours later nurse called with results...its high 6.01!!!!!

it was 0.08 in July!

Need another blood test in 3mo. 01/17/2024..i'm to stay on same dose of med.

I have a appt with N/P Wed..that was made 3 months ago  and she still wants to see me.

uh..after u tell pancake sis/i/law about her not getting cake from you....ignore her hissy fit...if on phone..hang up on her....be strong and firm with her!🤗😁🤣

@cowboy sam : The lap desk will be delivered on Wednesday. I had to look at the order because couldn't remember color but ordered black.

Understand your frustration with the blood work test and concerned about the result.

No fun having to go back another day.

I decided to set up DH generator. Charger it up and used it to charge my cell phone to make sure it worked ok. Neat little machine.

I purchased two Christmas gifts today. My friend in Alabama , on Sunday text me her Christmas wish list. She needed a 6 quart programmable crock pot. The one she wanted was on sale at Walmart and I decided to make the purchase with free shipping. I also ordered her the crock pot caddy. Her DH loves the pralines from Savannah Candy Kitchen and I had a coupon for $10 off and free shipping and will be delivered to their home in December. 

Feels good getting started. I am cutting back on how much I spend this year. 

Friend in Alabama asked me what I wanted or needed.I told her that I needed two of the long handle grabber things.

I am cutting back on what I will be giving SIL.She prefers to shop at Aldies(sp). I will give her a small gift card in a Christmas card. She will be so disappointed  because she loves to open packages. Last year, I gave her a variety of items for her kitchen pantry and wrapped them in different boxes. Oh well.🤗🤗

Hi Y'all. I am so excited, my friend from Alabama will be visiting Saturday for a couple of hours. Last visit , I noticed she was a lot smaller . I told her that she really look wonderful but no details were given. I  sent her email yesterday on what I am trying to do. She said we will talk on Saturday ,but she is down to a size 10  from 16 and since January down 55 pounds.😲😲😲

Hi Y'all: I had a very entertaining lunch. Lunch included 3 pieces fried chicken legs( out of baked chicken), collards, cabbage , apple salad and water melon. I was busy using napkins to remove the fried skin and then squeezed the naked chicken leg to remove any grease. The collards had more stems and liquid. Busy with napkins to absorb the liquid and remove the stems. Removed the liquid from the cabbage. The apple salad was drenched in mayo and busy using napkins to remove the mayo. So hopefully some calories were removed and some calories were burned in the process. I am worn out from lunch. Please tell me that your lunch and day has been much more exciting and fun.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Around noon i ate 2 slices of toasted honey wheat bread,with thin layer of peanutbuter,and dash of cinnamon  on it, drank some water....

oops i forgot to take bp pill with it....will do so now!

Eating 4 small dried banna chips 

Had a 1/2 glass of cola with other half of glass of water added to it!

Daughters zippered set of 2 zippered allergy free pillow  covers are late being delivered..was expected Monday...Now today???

Daughter mentioned  recently she would like a hospital blanket for her bed...as she has hot flashes  and wants a light weight open weaved blanket....i know Amazon sells them....so i will check one out for her today.

I keep saying i am done buying for her...then i think of something else..

So happy your friend will be be visiting you again.....too bad you don't have her gifts already  delivered and wrapped to send back with her to be opened Christmas Day!

Poor pancake will be crying over not getting her cakes,etc....and now  getting gift card
