yes my niece wasn't sick and we all gather to celebrate

on the menu - rib roast, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and cheddar biscuits

dessert was tiramisu and assorted cookies

it was very nice

she, bf and doggie had a very good time in indiana - 

it was just brrr cold there - single digits

NO MORE BAKING....

i did another batch bc the jackals were clamoring 

i really wanted to finish up the pecans and the italian bakery cookies did not turn out well - NOT WELL AT ALL

i think i miscounted the cups of flour or something bc they fell apart when u touched them - no joke - they fell apart if u just touched it - u cant even look at it - poof

so did my last bake - and dinner was very nice - about 3 lbs of cookies gone

i make the mac n cheese once a year bc the numbers are terrifying

2,5 lbs of cheese

1 stick butter

5.5 cups of milk

1 lb of pasta

i did NOT take any leftovers of that - 

gotta get back to a better routine 

it has been a lot of eating,,,,

looks dreary outside - but i dont think there is rain

so will go for a walk later

what is everyone else doing?

Good morning Preds and friends! Happy New Year 🎊! I was up when the New Year came in.....watching my Buckeyes lose to the Dawgs. 😞. So, so close. I'm never up on New Year's, but made the exception and drank coffee. Going to watch some bowl games today. 

CeCe ( one of my cats ), is upstairs right now on my DH's keyboard, trying to log in and get some goodie's from Amazon. 🤣

Good Morning Y'all. Trying to do better in the new year. Moved the cubii  and placed my ankle weights in front of it. This helped to keep it from moving but I only exercised for 15 minutes. My left leg and foot is very weak but also very sore. No changes noticed in the right leg or foot.

Called and left message for my refrigerator repair guy to call me to discuss next options since once again the ice is accumulating in the freezer. Praying that maybe he can call GE and maybe they can decide defective and help( I do believe in miracles).

Lady that was previously interested in my recliner called to ask if she could come and see and sit in recliner. Her sister came with her( plus didn't like she had bad cold and no mask...kept my distance). Buyer wanted the chair but her sister insisted that she wait before making decision. Stressed if after over night that she really wants it then her son can come pick it up to make payment. When they left sprayed the living room and house with lysol.

Ok before this visit. Two friends dropped by : the widow and the friend that posted information trying to sell the chair. 

Widow made suggestions that I didn't appreciate and the other friend didn't object to what she said. Widow suggested that I also offer the chair and walker to the buyer and if sold we split the money🙄.....WHAT. ( I need all the money to pay  the balance owed on chair) Deal was to give friend the walker for posting and helping to sale the chair.

My mouth was open wide and I didn't say anything while staring at friend that wanted the walker instead of the money. Really sad because she needs the money  and the walker. But I need all the money. I have not called or text friend that posted info to sell the chair. Two friends were out shopping and going to eat lunch. This is the third time that they have done something together and I wasn't invited. But they both like to tell me about  it. So me thinks friend told widow what was going on and asked for help like two against me. Am I reading too much into this or do y'all agree with me? I don't like drama and really don't like friends playing games or whatever. 

What will y'all be doing today? Praying that no stress or drama is included.🍩🍩🍩☕☕☕☕☕☕
