@cowboy sam : In 1976 - Mom and I moved to her neighborhood. At the time she wasn't working outside the home. Her and her husband had two young sons. This was in October on Mom's birthday and relieved to move to a safer neighborhood. Mom was sick and had exploratory surgery the following January. Sadly , it was cancer. I was attending the local collage and relieved that this neighbor could check in on Mom while I was in class The neighbor was 13 years older than me but our relationship was like sisters.Mom passed 6 months later, but this family was with me every step of the journey and I did the same for them when her DH died. Hated to leave the neighborhood but stayed in contact. We did a lot together like going to the local farmers market and purchasing beans and peas by the bushel and helping each other to shell them and put in the freezer. She talked yesterday about her and another neighbor coming to the house when Mom died to help me but the three of us set in the living room just hysterical crying. Things like this you never forget. It is my pleasure and honor to be able to do  a little something for her. Sad to notice her changes and being more fragile. We giggled in the parking lot because we no longer dye our hair and totally gray/grey( I always get the two confused but to be honest- I'm always confused).

I have been looking on Amazon this morning.

I was feeling guilty about saying my order from HSN had slow delivering orders  compared to Zappos and Amazon...but then i realized sigh they just had a hurricane in Fla..and shame on me!Smiley Sad

I checked my emails on google this morning and my HSN order was shipped yesterday!

Order was shipped from NJ  and was in Ohio today and i should have all "3 items" tomorrow-Wednesday!Smiley Surprised

Daughter stopped by yesterday  and asked me if i got my water?? huh? She said she ordered me 4- six packs of FIJI..spring water  the 500mt(1.05 pt) size bottles!  Heart

Shortly afterwards the Amazon Prime truck came and driver brought it to the house  and daughter went to door to take box from him.

He also had my package with her Anuschka Greenish colored dragon fly purse charm...but i put it up and didn't open it until after daughter left!

One of her Christmas gifts.Plus the other 2 gifts  to be delivered Wed

the 3d pkg  is for me!  But i will save it for Christmas Day to open  otherwise she will ask me why i didn't get her  one of the Angel wings purse charmSmiley LOL

@Mj12 ...This insidious virus just won't let up!...Sending my thoughts and prayers to you and your husband...I'm hearing that many have cold and flu symptoms and recover quite well.

A couple of our neighbors also came day with Covid within the past week and their symptoms are similar...They are starting to feel better so, hopefully, your husband will follow the same pattern.

Take good care and keep us updated when you are able...Sending (((((Hugs))))) Heart
