Good Morning Everyone...
We drove down to my hometown in New York this weekend and had a great visit with my sister and family...My sister and I took off for a while and just drove all around visiting our High School Alma Mater and the neighborhood where we grew up, etc....We parked the car and walked through our childhood neighborhood....just reminiscing and becoming very nostalgic with each passing moment which we are very good at doing...lol...When we got back to my niece's house, we all decided to get some take-out food at a great Italian restaurant nearby and just had a cozy family evening catching up with each other...It all went by much too fast.
First thing this morning, I prepared a Chicken Meatball/Escarole/Carrot soup in the slow cooker to simmer all day...It is just one of the many yummy recipes from my Italian Slow Cooker recipe book and perfect for this Fall Weather.
Hope everyone had a good weekend!
