It has been 4 years since my dear mother went to Heaven!😔 Not a day goes by that I do not miss her! I would give ANYTHING just to have one more day!❤️

@SandySparkles  I know exactly how you feel, I loss my mom when she was only 50 years old to cancer. I was only 25. I think of her everyday and how I wish she was here to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren. I have told my son so much about her that he feels like he really knows her. I have a lot of her jewelry which she loves and I know she is smiling from heaven When I'm wearing them. I have her china cabinet and dishes that I see everyday. But just know that someday we will be together again.

@SandySparkles    Thank you. thank you for your post.   My mother died almost 4 decades ago.  It seems to me that I appreciate her more and more every year, and still some days talk to her aloud wishing I could hear her response just one more time.

My Mom has been gone 11 yrs and 6 months and I miss her so much - I think of her daily.    Things constantly come up that I know she's the only one who has the answer to them.  My Mom was the most intelligent person I've ever known and so talented at so many things.

th you have made me seey mother always sat with a throw on her legs because she was always cold. 

When she passed 32 yrs ago I chose not to put flowers on her casket but draped a throw over it with the following embroidered words:

If  I could give you diamonds for every tear you have cried for me

If I could give you sapphires for each truth you have made me see

If I could give you rubies for the heartache you have known

If I could give you pearls for the wisdom you have shown

then you would have a treasure that would mount up to the skies

that would almost match the sparkle in your kind and loving eyes

but I have no pearls or diamonds as I'm sure you are aware

so I give you gifts more precious

My mother has been gone almost 45 years.  I didn't have enough time with her and no matter how long she would have been here, it wouldn't have been enough.

I miss her everyday.  She was the best mother ever.

My mother passed in 2021.  She was 94.  We weren't close.  That's all I want to say about our relationship.

This topic has come up before usually on Mother's Day and there are those of us who never had that close mother/daughter relationship.  Some have been just sad.

For those who miss their mothers every day consider yourselves lucky to have had that warm loving bond.

I feel the same way!  Be glad you had a loving Mother.

I have 2 daughters and we were very close when they were young and teenagers.

Haven't heard for either for over 10 years now.  I am 88 and they could care less that I am still alive.

Your posts are sweet and I'm sure you mean well......but not everybody loves their Mother!

@haddon9   Agree 100%.  My mother died in 2013 at the age of 98.  She was one tough cookie but so was her mother (my grandmother).  I think she would have been just as happy without any children.  Not abusive just not very open and accepting.  Can't really say I miss her.  I think I miss my father more.
