How are things going by you?

@Bri369 : Thank you for asking.Just like any caregiver- tired, sleepy and doing the best that I can considering. Praying that it will not be raining on Friday afternoon so that a friend can take me furniture shopping. I desperately need a lift recliner. Plus DH needs another recliner. Also considering purchasing a smaller couch for the den to give us a little extra space. I am researching the robot vacuum cleaners- but don't want to spend a lot.A regular vacuum really hurts my lower back. DH normally does the vacuuming whenever I drop, spill or whatever and he can't for several weeks.  The more that I try not to drop or spill something just makes a bigger mess.Also researching a whole house warranty. So my mind is full speed with stuff and trying to deal with so much. So if you or anyone else has purchased the mentioned products please let me know what brands if you are happy or wish you purchased something different.🤗♥️

Being a caregiver is physically and emotionally draining.  Please try to rest whenever you can.

A friend of mine has a Roomba and loves it.  He sets it up to run on a schedule and it takes about 45 mins.  Maybe there's threads in the Home forum on those types of vaccuums you can search for.

I don't know how loud it is.  He says sometimes it gets stuck and he has to redirect it.  He has wood floors and some area rugs, no stairs.  He has to pull his kitchen chairs out to get under the table.  I don't know know how long it runs before it needs to be charged again either.

What a yummy BLT.  I love BLT's.  I could probably eat one every day and be very happy about it.  Your bacon is making my mouth water.

Avocado's are ready to eat when they're slightly soft to the touch on the outside.

@Bri369 i was impatient and the thought stuck in my pea brain - i have other places to buy fruit/veg which i prefer to the supermarket at times but i was lugging too much and couldnt go to other places - carrying 5lbs of onions is hard

i guess i coulda put the onions back since i didnt need it right away and go shopping for avacados - they are now in a bag with a cut apple

i dont have answers for ur Roomba but i would think it needs a width berth to clean - too many things that go bump would just make it spin - idk but i'm sure others do

i hope everyday is getting better for u and ur dh

@Yahooey : My head is spinning with everything. Plus got paid today and trying to pay bills. SIL just came to take DH a few places and informed me that some peppers are ready to make jelly and she needs to know when to come over and help. Really ......something else to do🤷‍♀️😳- not a great time.

@SouthernBee

can the peppers be frozen - cut off stem and remove seeds/ribs (if u do) and throw it in a baggie in the freezer

tell her the pepper jelly will need to wait - dont let her talk u into making it w/so many things that have to be taken care of

@Yahooey : I totally agree with you and considering freezing everything. I just purchase what you call it- food vacuum sealer and bags. She said the peppers will last a week in the refrigerator 🤷‍♀️😳. Just need to delay a few things. Just researched this and said : Yes but be sure to thaw and drain really well. Apparently people do this to help have enough peppers ready to make several jars at one time. I need to do this. My priority for now is a lift recliner for me and something more comfortable for DH. Afraid that I will wake up one day and not be able to get out of my recliner. Plus really need the robot vacuum. Trying to do good research cause don't like making impulsive purchases. I don't like bills but sometimes things are necessary for health and safety.
