@SouthernBee

Forgive me, it was not my intention to make you feel bad about your post, or to be critical of your remarks.  Home deliveries of food are foreign to me, we simply don't have them out here in the country.

The events in our country, the world, and around us, weigh heavily with me.

Best Wishes to all.

@Drythe :  Nothing to forgive you for- you are precious and a very special friend. I always enjoy your post and help. Forgive me. It was nothing you said but me rethinking how I responded this morning.
We have just really started using the home delivery. I prefer to shop for my meats and produce and dairy items.
We have a tendency to overspend whenever we go to Sam's because everything is very tempting .
I also use the Sam's shipping option for my cases of can goods. The small cases like 8 cans of creamed corn and green peas. We have the Sam's Plus and shipping is free. If we use the delivery option we pay a delivery fee of $8 plus the tip. WalMart if the item isn't available locally - shop on line and use the shipping and with a reduced fee and no $35 minimum since I have the Walmart plus. DH and I both haven't really felt great this week. We really like and appreciate the guys with UPS and FedEx. Plus - I have the Bed Bath and Beyond ( can't remember the correct name but pay $29 yearly and receive free shipping and 20% off. They have the best sales on kcups and just recently started local delivery. I told DH the other day that my IPad was my best purchase ever. He has been able to watch some of his sports on the IPad apps when somethings were not available on cable.😃😃😃

Well ,

i decided to try my new debit/atm card out and order new checks with my bank that changed names over the weekend.

Card worked good and i took some money out of machine to put aside to pay the mower guy for August and a little extra for me !

I then went inside bank and waited as 1 person was ahead of me finishing up...then i gave the information..like remembering my Soc.Sec. # on machine,then gave her my check book   for her to write down last # check to start out on new checks. Just took a few min. when i turned around  to leave there was a few other people waiting to be taken care of...glad i didn't have to wait long!

I heard one bank teller ask a person if they had read packet of information sent to them? Reply was no...  i thought oh my gosh grr!poor teller

uh..  after i walked back home I shut my 2 windows and turned a/c back  it was close to 3 pm and was 84 ! yep i got hot walking home!

lubs ya!Heart
