I try to observe the "Live and let live" philosophy when it comes to most critters.  But not when they get in my house!😉

@cowboy sam : Have you tried using vinegar for the ants. My friend said to wipe the area with vinegar because it can kill them and repel them. I have never tried this. I have a spray bottle in the kitchen with a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar. The next time that I see ants on the front porch will try this.

I'll have to try the vinegar solution.  I don't like to use poisons around my pets.

Speaking of vinegar, I've been cleaning a lot with blue Dawn and vinegar and vinegar and baking soda.  It cleans so much better than anything I've ever used before.
