@SouthernBee

so they are a freshwater fish

what's the bait? i know that are bottom feeders so i guess u can lose a lot of hooks getting them stuck on stuff

how fun for ur dh - do u go fishing with them

what other kinds of fish do they go for?

@Yahooey : I forgot to ask DH about the bait.😳😀. They caught 9 big catfish and the cost was $35, but DH spent that much renting the boat at the other place. He gave the fish to his BIL. My DH doesn't like to clean fish.😁❤️❤️🤗 I think that they had another pond with brim.

Hi Everyone!...It's a gorgeous day here...sunny and temps will reach the 30's this weekend....Woo Hoo!...I'm getting Spring Fever and am eager to clean out our windowbox from its Winter evergreens and berries and plant some pansies everywhere but, alas, it's much too early.

I got a call that my new chaise is in already, but we have to arrange for the Salvation Army to pick up our couch first...Then I can freshen up and rearrange our spare room and give it a somewhat new look...Our couch is only about four years old and is in excellent condition but our spare room is a small room and I wanted to give it a more open look, so the chaise and just a chair will do just that...I picked out a fun pattern for the chaise also to perk things up a little...perfect for our spare room...It's actually sort of my little retreat area and my favorite little personal space to relax.

Just got back from a nice long walk and getting ready to finish up on some usual house chores...Then DH and I are planning to head out this afternoon for a while...might even head down to the shore area, as we both love being by the water.

Speaking of water, I'm thinking of @loveschocolate in her lovely lakeview home, busily unpacking and gradually starting to settle in.

@SouthernBee ...My husband loves fishing and has also enjoyed some deep sea fishing with some of his buddies...Just a couple of years ago, they took a weekend trip up to Gloucester, MA and went out on a fishing charter...DH came back with some delicous fresh Tuna and I've had a hard time eating canned Tuna ever since!...He has his special places around here also and usually comes back with some Trout...I tried going with him a couple of times, but I ended up feeling sorry for the fish and made him release them, so I don't make a very good fishing buddy...lol

Wishing everyone a good day! Heart

@MyShadowLove : I have always wanted a chaise but rooms small. I hope you are willing to post pictures when your room is finished. Thank you for sharing about fishing trips. I don't like to bait my hook, sitting in the sun and worry about other things like snakes and gators and DH has told me about them.😳

@Yahooey : Yes- crickets do fly- some got out of the container and in the car one time. I refused to get in the car until DH went to the car wash.
