@geezerette : Thank you. Just worn out and totally frustrated. Just relieved that I decided to do something this morning instead of waiting until Monday.

I sincerely hope that Paincake is healing well.  Accidents do not end with a cleanup of vehicles.  People get hurt, and so often that fact falls by the wayside.  We know better.

I so agree with you re the difficulty in getting good "customer service" in everything nowadays.  My DH is a true "computer geek," and he often gets very frustrated.  The designs of these systems (medical, repair of most anything) are flawed and very non-friendly.

Yes, you can sometimes change who you buy what from, but how often do you buy certain things?  Why do you have to fight to get help? Why do you need to have a degree in computer science to make a doctor's appointment?  We sustained some minor house damage due to a storm damage over a year ago.  Our insurer is a big name company (think T),

and I cannot tell you the trouble they gave us for a minor claim.  They still owe us a couple hundred $, and we have been fighting for it.

Sorry for the rant.  We have done business with one furniture retailer who was fantastic with a small problem.  We buy appliances from a local company with very good prices and top service.  It is possible.

Sorry you have to endure what you are going through, Bee.

Life is full of enough challenges without all this "stuff."

@PamfromCT : Thank you. Totally agree and understand. The life stuff is so much more complicated.

We had purchased cheap recliners ($299.00) for DH that lasted maybe 2.5 years. Paid $1100 sale price for the current recliner praying to last several years. It's a heavy sturdy chair but according to the technician with a deffective part that is almost never. Sad that we had a purchase history with the store that chose to be difficult instead of helping. This was a great store . Not many more options in our city . The other is Ashley furniture. No more locally owned furniture stores. This lady operated an independent furniture store with her husband and he died . Three years later opened her current store but a franchise.  She said DH broke the chair. 🙄😯

Things are so different. Relieved that we are closer to our life journey end instead of just starting.

Enjoy your weekend.❤

Good Morning Y'all. Stay warm and safe. My area forecast for tomorrow morning: 26😯😯.

Yesterday was cold and raining. DH has a cold . We didn't do anything yesterday.

Last week was reading in the home forum. Poster was asking about candle warmers and several suggested : A candle warming lamp with timer and dimmer sold on Amazon. I have limited my candle use to: only while in the room because afraid I would  forget to extinguish candle and use of plug ins forgetting to turn off. I ordered the candle lamp. It is beautiful and love the low soft glow. This will be my gift for birthdays this year.
