We had another dusting of snow yesterday  plus the sun is smiling down at us  its in the low 20's here.

 

sigh..i'm so glad today is a new day!

paincake sis,her neighbor friend went to other resturant for Taco Thursday  but sis won't order them she orders dark chicken meal   w/baked potatoe off the seniors menu,

 

 but her friend  and i ordered the 3 tacos on flour patties...mine soft..she has hers deep fried.  I brought home 2, she took one 1/2 home!

Sis took  home her soup,and? 

 

They were out of our carrot cake...so we each orded pie instead sis took hers home for later.....always my treat for dessert there!

 

We each pay our own bill  but sis always wants to leave tip for the 2 of them and

Painscake sis...gave waitress $6.00 for the 2 of them....well when we got ready to leave painscake sis left the table  and her friend put $3.00 next to where my plate had been  as she didn't want my sis to know she had left it for waitress!

I then got in line to pay my bill  and sis got out of line  and went back to our table  and? she then got back in line behind me  and heard me tell cashier i wanted to put a $10.00 tip on bill for our waitress on my cc.

 

"After "we get in car  and headed back to our town...her neighbor was driving...and out of no where...painscake  sis...

asked me

why i left more money on table  plus put more for tip on my cc  ???

 

Was i tryimg to make her look "cheap" for only giving what she did  to the waitress???

I replied  well  i might have snapped back at her.😡🤬😠...that my bill was more than hers  plus i treated them to dessert..and gave waitress more of a tip!

 

I "did not tell her" that it wasn't "me "that left that  $3.00  on our table by where my plate had been    and that her neighbor did...it wasn't  any of her business!!!

Friend thought sis should have given waitress more money for tip  and didn't want her to know...so sis thinks i left more tip money

 

Well,

later last night her neighbor friend sent me a text message  about why did my painscake sister lash out at me over tip money...as that was the 3d time she had done so??😡🤬😠

 

I told our friend  that if painscake  called me   today to ask if i wanted to go? i will tell her No!  and why!  The friend texed me back...that she wasn't going today either!

Sis..won't go by herself to eat out...Smiley LOL

 

Hope  all lost items are found today by all that are missing items!Smiley Happy

@cowboy sam : I am dealing wth several situations.

Yesterday DH was trying to get his fibromyalgia medication the original Lyrica and not the generic pregamblin. PCP ordered the prior approval. Discovered that during insurance open enrollment BCBS given  false information and he talked to 3 different CS reps. His medicine not covered in their formulary for 2025. Spent most of day requesting Formulary Exemption Form to obtain approval for the needed Lyrica. DH upset and wished he had changed insurance providers.

 

Then SIL was involved in car accident and someone hit her on the back of her car. Several frantic phone calls and text to get police report file and for SIL to go to the emergency room for medical help and everything documented. She was in the ER over 6 hours. Neck issues, bruises, breast bone very painful. Told to rest for 5 days, on pain medication and muscle relaxers. 

Before everything else yesterday, intended to do follow up on recliner repair cause claim filed in September.

 

So this morning on phone about recliner and transferring calls. 

My last info the part had been ordered in October and would be shipped to my address. 

CS stated requested more information on 10/3/24 and part not ordered. I explained didn't receive last request and then I exploded. Call transfer , man very nice and trying to help. Stated he will call the recliner store owner and see if she will fax him copies of all the receipt s and hopefully they will be easier to read. Promised he will call me back later today  with current and correct information.😯🙄. Praying the part was ordered and current status.🤗❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

@cowboy sam : Wow. Never a dull moment with Paincake  Sis.Poor thing has no one to  eat with today. Hopefully she has her fridge, freezer and pantry stocked.......like yours.

 

I wish that you and her neighbor would start doing lunch together: more peaceful duo enjoying lunch.🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏

 

I haven't had time to look for " missing items."🙄🙄🙄

Oh my goodness, you sure have been going through it!  It seems like you can't do anything nowadays without it being a hassle.  Everything takes forever and if you have a problem it's hard to even get a real person to talk to about it.  And it all falls on you to have to take care of it.


I hope your DH can get the kind of medication he needs.  And that you can get you chair situation fixed.

 

Now SIL has had an accident.  She's probably really shaken up.  I hope she isn't hurt too badly and that her car isn't too bad either.

 

Your New Year isn't starting out too well!  ☹️ ❤️

@geezerette :  With my eye problems ready to hire me a secretary.  Had to communicate with the doctors office using the patient portal and not user friendly. Difficult typing a message and the keyboard would disappear and had to start over several times. This was on DH cell phone a moto  and don't use often. Totally frustrating.

 

 

Had trouble using the recliner warranty app  and trouble finding phone number and real person to communicate with. Sad that companies not making it easier for elderly and insisting everything be done on the app.

 

No return call on the recliner.

 

SIL doing a lot of sleeping. No complete details on her injuries and damage to her truck that she purchased over 15 years old.

@Yahooey @cowboy sam @geezerette @PamfromCT : Woke up thinking about the recliner repair. I have a different cell phone since submitted claim info. Took photos of all receipts and went on app to update info. Had trouble submitting photos. Decided to call. Explained everything. CS put me on hold to research claim. CS stated system had closed my claim.Stated she talked to supervisor for permission to open new claim and expedite order for part. Stated sending me email explanining everything. She stayed on line until I received the email. Part being sent to my address . Praying the part will be expedited sooner than the 10 weeks.😯😯🙄🙄

At least you got good news about your recliner part! 👍

 

I do the same thing when I have a problem--worry about it day and night and sometimes I'll finally think of something that I can do to fix it.

 

I hope you get your part soon and your chair can be fixed.
