@Tique : Totally agree with your statement. Sad but some men are totally " mommies boy" and mommy always come first. This happened in my first marriage.

I hope and pray that @loveschocolate dh will listen to her and help her make drastic changes for any future visits and totally support his precious wife.

@Yahooey : Yep, a lot of changes needed.

This office is new and a lot of new equipment. I was on a breathing machine for 15 minutes. She stated a lot of people can't follow the directions and have to start over several times but I did very well. I have been in a lot of different doctor offices and have never seen this type of machine.

The weight scales were totally different. It had handle bars that you used to step up on. The handle bars had different pressure points. The platform had a foot print that you stepped on and during the process the foot print moved apart several inches.

On top of the machine was an extended arm that had lights on it. I was told to stand still and look straight ahead and my height was measured- everything was quick and easy.

At my primary care doctor office it is difficult for me to get on the weight scale and then difficult for me to move so they can extend that old fashioned black bar to measure my height.

I liked the lady doctor. She said she has a friend currently working at a fitness center and trying to get her to her office to set up group exercise sessions designed especially for the disabled and elderly that can't do the normal gym stuff.

I had to pay up front yesterday but they will file on my insurance and praying that my insurance will pay something so they can reimburse me.

This place is accredited and bbb approved. They have another endocrinologist office that has been in practice for over 20 years but in July opened this special Wellness and Healthy Living Center to meet the demands for the growing diabetic and obese population.

@Yahooey : Thank you and totally appreciate and agree.

I told her that in the past some doctors see my cerbal palsy as an excuse but she said that I have special and different needs. She said there are no quick and easy solutions but she can help and improve my problems. I told her that other doctors get upset with me when I experience side effects from some medications that I usually talk about and she said but always possible because of my different medical history.

Praying this will be different.
