Good Afternoon Y' all: I haven't felt good for several days.

Currently trying to research Mother's  Day gift and graduation gift for DD. She requested one of my recipes but she would need a stand mixer with food grinder and she doesn't have the stand mixer or food grinder. I just sent her email and asked if she would go to the trouble to make this recipe and how often ? I have purchased a special recipe binder to put all my recipes in for her.Considering the current Mother's Day sales the two purchases are expensive. Really wanted to use my charge card but the sites with sales the prices are still high. Walmart has one kitchen aid mixer for $289. I have charge cards with Kohl's and Bed Bath and Beyond . Just frustrated.

sometimes it is hard buying a gift

a person may get excited and say - yes i will use it a LOT

you make it once or twice and it sits in the corner bc it had too many steps

too many ingredients

too much trouble for what it yields

unless you cook and bake frequently

many items take a long long time

look at @Mj12 recipe for her fab meatballs w/ sauce

it take hours - hence she makes it when there is a pink moon with venus rising

and the northern lights appearing in nyc

sometimes there is a coupon for 1 free attachment 

i got a free meat grinder and never used it

i had grand ideas of grinding my own meat 

unless u are talking about a food processor

@Yahooey .Thanks. Totally agree and understand. The recipe is for a cranberry salad using the cranberries and marshmallows that need to use the food grinder then add crushed pineapple, orange sections, pecans and jello. Not hard to make but a little time consuming.

@Yahooey : Everything on the kitchenaid website was on sale but still expensive. No special deal on the food grinder.

Talked with DH and he said he would give me extra money. Stated his ex wife wasn't interested in cooking  or baking  and no special moments with her. Stated I  helped  DD  more with kitchen stuff when she stayed with us for a few months. 

I purchased the mixer from Walmart and the grinder and special mat to put under the mixer to move easier on the counter from Amazon. Just knowing that she and the grand kids need so much. She already has a good job offer to work in a lawyers office when she graduates and hopefully things will improve.

I hope she appreciates your generosity and makes all your special recipes.  You're giving her an invaluable gift of knowledge.

Storms around us again yesterday with severe storms warnings,etc  but was lucky we onlt had a bit of wind...storms went east of our town so we just got a hint of it!

Hope your feeling better today🤗 Are you still getting storms or pollen?

Its sunny and only in the 60's today...so i'll take it and  I walked to doctors office this morning to talk to nurse practioner about test results from Monday blood draw.

Slight problem.

Told her that i take my

  2 scripts together in the morning .

One might need to a higher dose?

One solution   is for me to

 take them at different times and will need to go back in July to be retested..".if" no change then  the one   pill will needed to be changed to a higher  dosage
