When we were little kids and would get upset stomachs, my mother would give us room temperature ginger ale.  I don't like anything carbonated, so I would drink that when it was warm because the fizz would be gone by then.

It wasn't until I was grown that I found out that ginger is soothing for your stomach.  Of course, that was back when ginger ale was real ginger and sugar, which is easy to digest too.  Nowadays there's so many artificial ingredients in some stuff that bother me.

@GingerPeach : I have medium size clips like yours. When my hair was shorter my routine including using a spray bottle to dampen my hair and then use hands to scrunch in styling gel and place the clips. I would blow dry my hair. Remove the clips, finger toss the curls, shake my hair. But sadly my hair was a whole lot thicker.

@geezerette : I purchase the Walmart brand - great value ginger ale. It comes in 8 ounce cans. For me not only cheaper but taste better than the other name brands. But everyone needs to do what works for them.

Hello Dear Friends,

A funny story.  Our dogs get a bedtime snack every night.  Last night I asked Bertie (the Puggle) to sit & stay.  Then I started to walk past him to get his treat.  WELL... he took off, STILL sitting, facing me, and pushing himself backwards, butt on ground, still front of me using his front paws to push backwards, as quick as a flash.  It was SO funny, DH and I had big giggles, but we picked him up and held him so he didn't think we were making fun of him!  Well, he WAS still sitting!   Bertie is a Happy, Clever boy!
