I read that post you're referring to.

First, I've never had a TracFone so I can't help you with that.  (Partly I've never had one simply because of all the questions and problems I've seen on this forum about them over the years.😄)

I think she was trying to be helpful, but perhaps a little too blunt.

In this particular instance, you weren't the only one having problems with their phone.  Yes, you have asked questions before, but so have dozens of other posters.  And you have answered some questions over the years.  Many people tried to help you with your problem and didn't think anything about it.

For another thing, she most likely does not know your situation completely.  It's easy for someone who knows about a subject to think you need to do something.  I struggle daily with so many things that are changing, electronics especially--and I don't have to deal with as many challenges as you do.

Don't let that comment hurt your feelings.  If you have some sort of resource for help and can easily access it, fine.  If not, keep doing your best.  It may come to a point that if your communication isn't reliable and you can't easily use it consistently, you may have to think of an alternative.  Right now you have so many other things you're dealing with.  

*One more thought:  Your electronics friend gardenman is on the "other" forum more frequently than here.  You may want to go there too and ask him your questions since he always seemed to be a big help to you.

i was very stressed out with my printers information  screen that informed me there was a new "firmware" to be downloaded for my printer.

OK..i searched on google for "down load" for the printer !!

and AI gave me info not useable info.

So i kept changing how i worded my question...sigh...read through so many pages..

.finally i found I needed

I needed

to use the word" firmware" down loader with Printers name and  was  "EpsonEC -Tank 2850 firmware downloader "

but i couldn't find it on my computer

.next how do i find where to down load this to my computer?

it wasn't on my computer!

More searching....

finally  found a page that had it  and clicked to download it...nothing showed up for me to see!

Then i decided it was downloaded as a PDF??? but had to hunt for it... finally found where it was at...

 i had to open it...then a popup box showed  and i i clicked to open..then i had to click accept download,etc...and it showed it was being downloaded..5min. or less to be download..

I looked at my printer and screen on printer showed normal screen.Finally!!!

So what is difference in the wording "download "  or " firmware download" a lot!

 Plus searching for a   down load  firmware downloader???? 

Are ya conffused as i was ?????

I was very stressed  until it was finally  done

You definitely need a pick me up after that printer fiasco.  But you persevered and got it done! 👏💪

I'm really glad your friend is going to talk to paincake sis' nieces.  It really sounds like she shouldn't be driving at all.  Which is going to be hard to convince her of.

I hope your day goes well from here on.  Take it easy.

This printer uses 4 bottle of colored ink  and lasts much longer than the ones with cartwiches...i give up  all my big  spelling words  are wipped out for now  oops uh "wiped"

Maybe?..just maybe i'll recover some back  after i" drinl" 12 glasses of coke...

see i give up!

Since Friday after being with painscake sis...i have been soooooooooooo stressed

I think that @geezerette  gave you some good advice

more than i can today..

Added to my stress was

All my researching yesterday on on my computer to find how to downloald "firmware" to my Eco printer from my computer...sigh

Added to  .this stress kicked into a fibro flareup  my brain is fuzzy.

But

I wanted to prove to myself i could figurer it out without calling my grandson

but was it worth it.??. ask me tomorrow...but like you i kept trying  and i did it.

I  can't read or advise you  like you asked me to.right now...so sorry!

thanks for telling my mail lady i was expecting  my 2 pairs of new Columbia hiking boots  so she delivered me one box  out of 2. 

boots  were taken out of box and put on.. perfect fit, no need to break them in. 

Maybe i will get other box tomorrow plus marcasite circle earrings.

phones on sale...not happy with a couple of prices over$ 200.00

 or closer to $300.00  i have until end of June to keep mine or ???

Wel,l i ordered from 3 different Ebay sellers.  earlier this month , one order  was   delivered yesterday...

other 2  are being delayed??? from where????

I ordered 4 different  kinds Campbells canned soups...

6cans of bean&bacon,

case of 8cans of chunky  chicken noodle soup

1can of chunky steak&potatoe soup

i can of chunkychicken tortilla with white chicken meat

And also

 2 bottles  40 0z. of Baby Rays BBQ sauce  to be delivered Feb.19th

  Staying home today  and until ????
