@geezerette : Yes, you and all of Preds special friends: I would love to send a special treats platter. I have the macadamia nut, oatmeal raisin and melt away or known as wedding or Mexican cookies. After January 1 st: healthier eating, drinking more water and exercise.

Seeing that daughter wasn't here Christmas day

i will eat her:

turkey,sweet potatoe cassarole and dressing .

.i will make a turkey sandwich with drizzled sweet baby rays bbq sauce on it....yes,its very good...i can't have mayo because of dairy things in it!

For dessert..i have 4 cookies left that my walking neighbor gave me....and wash all down with a big glass of coke...!!!

It's 47 and drizzling rain and possible reg. rain soon...so its a drearry day but have you to talk to plus tv is on !

It's cloudy and dreary here today too. In fact, it's either been cloudy or rainy every day for a week now. And tomorrow we're supposed to have storms. Maybe Sunday afternoon the sun might come out.

The only good thing about it is it hasn't been cold enough to snow or ice. I used to love winter the most of any of the seasons, but not now that I'm older. Plus it's a huge pain in the neck to have to bundle up in all those heavy clothes!

Enjoy your goodies today. You have all the fixin's for the main course and @SouthernBee has all the desserts. Between the two of you, you have a whole meal!😄

Currently 56 and very cloudy but I am very cold and tired. I wanted to take the decorations down but not today.

@cowboy sam & @geezerette : I have something funny to tell y'all. I stay in contact with my 83 year old former neighbor and me 70 are more like sisters. She also has bad back.

I decided to surprise her with two packages from Amazon. They are out for delivery today and one being delivered by UPS and one by Amazon.

She just called laughing. She was surprised when the UPS truck backed up in her driveway and had no idea what to expect. That delivery was for the magic gel back brace. The next delivery will be a much bigger box a shower chair. Wish I could see her face when it's delivered. Then I received text message delivery 9 stops away and started sending her count down text. The map showed a Christmas sleigh making delivery. She just text me: Did you send me a toiletl😯🤓🤓. I just sent text with photo of the shower chair. The price for the chair was 1\2 of what I paid for mine. She kept asking me about my shower chair and not knowing what to order. Mine has a special coating on it to kept it from getting so gross. Easy to spray clean.

@geezerette : She helped me when Mom was sick and was there for me when Mom died. I was 22 and struggling with my job and how to budget money getting paid every two weeks.

On Friday nights after she cooked and cleaned the kitchen she would take me to Shoney's to talk and drink coffee. Her husband and sons would be busy watching sports.

I can tell she is showing the signs of aging. She's walking slower and doing more stumbling around. She doesn't have a walk in shower but tub with shower.
