@PamfromCT : Enjoy your precious new neighbors. Little kids really make a difference.

Friend from Alabama : her daughter and granddaughter visited yesterday. Her daughter was married in July and had with her two precious children under 10 cute boy and girl from her DH  first marrage. They were very polite. I put my CD player on and the first song was Alvin and the Chipmunks. They were giggling and dancing and loved everything. They asked if the could have a hug and call me " big mama. " Of course. They had fun sitting in my lap. They were a special suprise.❤

@SouthernBee

I laughed so much about your time with two young visitors.

I think your name should be "Sweet Grammie," and yes, that song is funny.  As we all know, a good sense of humor is a treasure!  All my best!  And I could wipe out all your DH's goodies he bought in one afternoon.

Lubs ya!

Happy Christmas Eve - it started snowing for a bit early this morning

should be inching along in degrees as the day goes on - so it shouldnt freeze - although it is below freezing at the moment

I, along with pancake her DH and her son and DIL are going to foodie niece's home (her daughter) for dinner - my brother, his daugher and BF will also be joining us

the son and his GF will not be partaking - or his mom (separated for several years)

my nephew (*&%$ - we will leave it at that - not a conversationist - doesnt like food

i will be baking peppermint chocolate meringues (first time) and the rest of the cookies were done yesterday - will be taking them over to see who wants to take some home

on the menu - seafood since younger niece is a pescatarian- easy peasy

no one is bringing anything per request - no mucking up the menu

tomorrow - Christmas day - my younger niece/BF/dog and the anti social nephew/GF will be with the mom but not at the same time - nephew doesnt care for the boyfriend or niece's dog.... now u know #@$#$^

so i wont be doing anything on Christmas day - probably eating leftovers and watching TV - I should be cleaning and organizing some stuff bc

DRUMROLL....

the workers left last Thurday.... all done

I only cleaned the floors andnothing else

I dont have furniture and not in a big rush to buy

I will be hosting 1/4 saturday - for our family get together

yes... I know - pancake is part of the family but not really

i usually  have several dinners w/brother - younger niece/BF dog and the nephew/GF

for instance Thanksgiving...

yes there is a bed in the living room.... but they had seen that before

@Yahooey @cowboy sam @geezerette @PamfromCT : DH going to McDonald's for our lunch: Me just regular hamburger, fries and large sweet tea with lemon.

Grrrrrr.....DH had another box delivered yesterday: Oatmeal raisin and sugar cookies.

DH then stated: I have your Christmas gifts doubled boxed..... please wrap them for me: told him better to do last night instead of today. All three boxes not heavy and medium in size. We wait until Christmas night to open our gifts.

SIL still fussing about us not wanting her fruit bags. What she puts in them, DH doesn't eat. He doesn't eat oranges only in ambrosia, no apples, no sausage sticks, no microwave popcorn, no Little Debbie cookies and snack cakes. She puts them in medium size bags , so some money was spent. We didn't tell her , don't like your items because don't want her to change items.!!!!More later.🤗❤❤❤
