@cowboy sam : DH said that he can't tell his daughter not to visit. I am praying that they will have problems getting everything done as planned and call saying not able to stop. They can stay in contact with emails and not including me.

@cowboy sam : No problem. I understand. I'm not worrying about the house. DH will clean the bathroom Saturday morning. The tablecloth for the dinning table should be delivered tomorrow. I will continue to make the ice for the freezer. Sodas were delivered this morning. No more planning.🤗❤

today was in the 95 - WHAT?????

whereas last week - we enjoyed low 80s temps

luckily - it is falling again tomorrow - my beans + maters will appreciate that

last day of knitting in the park today

i met 2 friends - i turned in my finished cowl - i took it home to get it finished

it was HOT - i had my iced water in insulated tumbler and bought a matcha frap

@Yahooey : I understand. My area high was 96🙄😯.I looked at the thermostat several times to see if the air was on.We had the ciling fan on.I'm making ice to fill up the freezer.

Good Morning Y'all. In the news yesterday, that my city will finally have an Amazon warehouse with Amazon delivery. Currently in process of hiring and no details when the warehouse will open.

DH has been in a lot of pain with his neck and shoulder. My joint pain has increased and we were awake most of the night Wednesday. DH waiting on pain medication and pharmacy said they had to order it.

No extra planning or cleaning for The Visit.Using paper plates, plastic cups and flatware.I am using two of my canning jars for the packets of splenda and true lemon.I have the restaurant style sugar dispenser. Didn't order two extra napkin holders for the two folding tables, just placing stacks of napkins on each table. I have cushions for the folding chairs and not using them. DH still praying that they will arrive today instead of Saturday.

Hi Y'all: DH cancelled The Visit.DD fiance will be leaving Louisiana much later today. That is over 400 miles and dealing with the holiday traffic and then the Atlanta traffic. Also leaving much later on Saturday to our house. I can exhale and relax. DH more relaxed.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Oh  my goodness.  After all that stress, planning, and purchasing by you!  What an ordeal and then to be canceled at the last minute.🙄

If you both are relieved, then it's definitely a good thing.  Especially since it sounds like you both are dealing with pain issues--which I hope improve.🤞🙏

I hope DD isn't too disappointed.  Maybe she'll be too busy with the last minute changes.
