Good afternoon Y'all. Currently 93 and suppose to have afternoon showers and we desperately need the rain. Yesterday decided to do a couple of things with DH help. I wanted to try making peach ice cream in my vitamix. My frozen peaches probably had too much juice. It didn't create the four mounds as explained in the instructions. DH didn't want a milk shake so we put it in the freezer and we will try it tonight.Forgot how loud the vitamix  was.

Decided to make 1/2 gallon of tea.

My back was really hurting when finished. Very concerned about the pain and difficult doing things. So tired of just sitting.

What are y'all doing today?🤗❤🙏

I'm cat-sitting for a neighbor who left for Ireland for a week...She has two adorable cats, so I will be taking care of them while she is away...They excitedly greet me when I go over and probably "mew" to each other..."Oh goody, here comes dat gullible hoomin again"...LOL

Have to run some errands and am planning on having a shrimp salad with corn-on-the cob tonight when my husband gets home.

Hi Y'all: Cooler since thunder storms and much needed rain.

Someone else in the house didn't like my peach ice cream. Stated not sweet enough on no diced peaches in it.I thought was good for my first try. So next time will use more sugar and will use my small chopper to dice some frozen peaches and will mix in after ice cream made.

I thought my tea was good considering that I haven't made any in several months. Ok.

DH not happy with the cost of meals delivery.DH went out to eat and picked up a vegetable plate for me. Very much appreciated.

I know that everyone's taste is different. On two different orders decided to try the Cracker Barrel turnip greens and for me: they were awful- tasted spoiled. Cracker Barrel stated it was me. That is a very popular food order and no complaints from my dates given. No more turnip greens order from me. Always looking for some place different to order. Such an exciting life. 

Need something to laugh about. Our local paper had article: 15 places to eat and under $15. I read the article and looking for places with delivery. One place that was interesting: Fried chicken gizzards (ok for some double yuck)but my BigMama  made the best fried chicken gizzards. She would cook then in the pressure cooker and then fry. Ok not a healthy food but brought back precious memories. Hope y'all recover quickly after reading my post. Probably need a big cup of coffee or extra large cola.🤓🤗❤

  @Yahooey ...What Happened?...No one showed up!....As soon as I saw your post, I ran back out to pick up some more shrimp and corn-on-the-cob for all of you and I told Hobo to let you all in while I was out and to keep you entertained....He can be very guarded and possessive when I'm not home...Did you all get along okay?  😂

currently 92 and HOT

been cleaning and  trying to do some organization (very poorly)

i dont remember which cabinet i put stuff in and i keep opening them

obviously these are not perm spots - but trying to get some stuff into cabinets

kitchen guy have not returned call on when he can come to put in the shelves

so i was avoiding the 2 cabinets that were next to the shelves - so i wouldnt have to take stuff out again - in case he needed to go in them?

the new area does not have AC - so i have a tower fan going

i think i mentioned i have a 6 piece set of circulon cookware coming as a promo for buying the induction range - the promo changed bc i'm no longer getting a spatula as 1 of the pieces - 1 stock pot - 1 sautee pan - 2 fry pans

i wished it included a 2 qt saucepan - bc the one i use now is not induction compatible and i already own a sautee pan (TJ Maxx all clad - they dont carry that anymore) darn

i got updates - it wil be delivered tomorrow - then it wil be delivered today

then - it is out for delivery 12-2 pm

ding dong - i opened the door and the driver lifted the bulky box and placed it inside my door - most times - the drivers leave it outside after they ring the doorbell or if it is small enough - it is stil in their hands and they hand it to me

anyway - he was so pleasant

he walked away and waiting for traffic to stop to cross the street to his truck

it just came over me - bc i dont always have fondness for deliveries

sir - he turned around - would you like an ice pop?

he said sure - pineapple or mango - mango he says

i went back and got it for him - i made his day but he also made mine

a little something for someone working so hard in this heat

i'm getting a heat rash around my neck bc sweat is dripping off me

i didnt take a shower bc i didnt want to miss the delivery

i was starving - tried using the induction range

didnt use the new cookware but i put in a bag of TJ cacio e pepe

threw in sauage - string beans - mushrooms - peas

it is a mish mash - but i needed some veg and meat

used the vent for the first time

there is a lot of reading - i couldnt turn it on

and then when i waiting to long to reply - it turned off

it is all touch pad

it is slippery - i was stirring and trying to flip the frozen stuff around

the pot moved bc i didnt hold on to the pot handle - lol

i can set a timer for a few minutes - tried 3 minutes

it beeped and i went back to stir it again

turned it off and went to shower

i can hit a button on the vent hood - it turned itself off when i got back

i felt refreshed and ate - now just relaxing until i need to move more stuff

Had another t-sorm with lot of wind  and heavy rain just before bedtime Monday night...i heard a loud sound once but??

This morning after being up-down in bed not sleeping had my shower early  and looked outside into back yard...a huge  old tree in new neighbors yard had fallen into my back yard!

Well, i went over to his house to tell him...he was getting ready to go for a bike.  but didn't happen..so we walked down together to my back yard.. and checked tree out  part of it also went into some fir trees of another neighbors yard!

I then decidefd i had tree limbs that needed picked up on east side of my yard....i coudn't get one tree limb...but neighbors son came down tp put tree limbs,etc  on mty burn pile...and he helped me.

will continue this when i get back from short walk w/neighbor.

The fun of learning how to use new appliances but you will love the changes. What will be your next cooking experiment!??

Well for me : Yuck. Just opened a small box of Nilla Wafers. Expiration date : November 2024. They are smaller in size.Not as chrispy. Totally taste different.😯🙄. Apparently several changes has been made. I previously liked to snack on Nilla  Waffers  and my preferred cookie to use making Banana Pudding. Now what to use? Me don't like changes.😥😥😥😥

the humity got me so i told Nathan i need to come back to house as i was feeling light headed...he told me he would finish picking up for me...and he did!

 new neighbor had his chainsaw cutting fallen tree,then neighbor across from me took his bigger chainsaw down  plus 

his wife who i walk with and son  Nathan,and myself started helping him then another neighbor walked over as tree was partly in his yard also.....

Tree is all cut up now and they each took what they wanted for burning outside use or heating house...and  my back yard is cleared of tree!

New neighbor decided he needed a burn pile for his yard  instead of walking to mine.

I am hoping for no nightime storms tonight...i need a good nights sleep.
