@Yahooey, I sure can relate to frustrations when you are remodeling. Dome with an eye to future resale, we went through our remodeling nightmare.  We were working through one business, who really gave us some good tips.

Kitchen was redone, panty/laundry off kitchen, two full baths, and one half bath.  For the most part, the subcontractors were very good, but there was one who was cray-cray and ended up getting fired by the company.  

I am very glad we did it, as everything was very outdated.  We have lived here forever, love our home, but it is an investment.  
We had the inside repainted, and had our dark woodwork painted white. It goes on and on.

Living here through all this stuff was sure not fun.  Very frustrating at times. But when everything is done, you will be very happy.

i saw the movie IF yesterday

it was cute - not great -

i see a lot of kids movies - the toy story franchise is much better

but it was enjoyable

if u want to see a movie - THE FALL GUY is so fun adn GOSLING

friends need to know what sam does today

and i hope things are coming together for you bee

@Yahooey, Just hang in there!  It will be over!

I should have mentioned why we did all we did to our home.  It was not new when we moved in almost fifty years ago!  And in our area, nobody wants to buy a home that needs much updating.  If it sells, it will sit on the market for a long time and you will take a beating on the price. We don't know how much longer we will live in our house, but at least that much is done.

My neighbor that sold his house...i had a relator    send me a listing of homes in my areaa  the  in mail with  homes listed and prices

 My neighbors house sold for $292,000    its no...not a mansion  but.

a split level older home with possible 2 acres of yard   a new roof was recently put on it  and 2 car shed/!!!!

A local high school teacher and his wife bought it!

Up the street from me is a house listed for $159,000  and its a small home with fenced in back yard!

SMH!!!!

Yesterday  pancake got upset with me..because

i mentioned i had heard from another sis a couple of hours away from our towns....

she asked me

why i heard from her  and why??

What did she say to me??etc...

.and was i the one that called her???

I told pancake that other sis called me

 by phone  and cell phone text..

She was upset that i was called  and not her

She then shorly after that  as she couldn't undestand why...and left our table in resturant for a while!

Later when her neighbor  and i went to pay our bill...one of the ladies that works there...

asked if  pancake sis was mad at us,etc.  as   she had noticed pancake was spending  more time looking at merchandise  and not with us in dining 
.pancakes neighbor explained to her that her memory wasn't good,etc...and i looked up and pancake was very close behind us standing...how much..if she did overhear the conversation i don't know....but she did hear somone ask me how old is sis that called me..and i said 81 years old  and she acted surprised  and walked away from us.

what did i eat yesterday while with pancake?......grilled chicken strips and cooked carrots  and drank 1 glass of coke
