i LOVE IT - thank you for sharing

i will have a stainless sink with slightly rounded corners - undermount

i have researched for 2 yrs - so i read that slightly rounded will be easier to clean

food doesnt get stuck in the straight edge creases - your sponge glides round

stove is next to sink and island is across

so everything time i wash something and then birng to island to cut

then back to stove to cook - drip drip drip

i'm hoping the undermount will let me rest my cutting board across the cabinet

which will reside between stove/sink -

an undermount gives you a  flat surface - i had a drop in previously

just a quck chop - anything that can help is a good thing

the window is so darn sweet.... ai lubs it

i am on round 2 of seed sprouting for eggplants and ground cherries

round 1 - all ground cherries died and only 1 eggplant sprouted

upcycling my ice cawfee cup - need the lid for condensation and letting sun in

I remember a lovely stained window when you posted a picture of a pretty flower from your garden a while ago...Will the renovations affect that in any way?...Are you having new kitchen counters and cabinets put in also?

the stained glass is a souvenir from Met Museum - it is just propped up

not installed stain glass - 

as a kid - i remember i had a kit - you put colored pellets metal outline and baked it in the oven

stained glass - i got barney rubble - dont know why

if i were to pick a flinstone character - dino or pebbles

the only thing from original kitchen will be the fridge -

circa 2016 or a bit before

@Yahooey ....I just remembered, in your previous post, you indicated your choices and I just read over them again...Your choices are lovely...white cabinets will open up your small kitchen and your charcoal counter with white striations sounds absolutely beautiful... It's great that you are able to design it  to your personal preferences to make it more workable for you...It will be so fresh and modern.

@SouthernBee...I can see your counter working very nicely with your black appliances since it has black speckles throughout the other warmer tones..

I would have preferred a somewhat more darker counter myself; however, the counter that we have is in excellent condition and is very neutral, so it still works well...just a more subtle look.

How are you feeling?

to remodel couldn't find what I wanted. I called her and she sent the information for my contractor .Supplier was located in Atlanta .

Some days are better for me. Thanks for asking.

Busy dealing with tax paper work and hope to take everything to the tax man this week. Then I can celebrate because I will be back on my retirement scheduled.

I slept good last nite...no waking up coughing!

But was still wore out  and needed a mid-morning nap.

My Laura Geller order was delivered at 10:30am   but i was "missing" my tube of Pink Bellini Italian Marble lipstick  wasn't in bag with other items!  I sent a email to them.

I went w/pancake sis  and her neighbor...i ate 2 pancakes with blackberry jam...and 2 glasses of coke.

back home  then wrapped my back in heated blankie...and took short nap.

Neighbor called and asked me to walk with her...i couldn't keep up w/her ! 

I asked her 3x to slow down...and finallyshe noticed that i was lagging behind her....so she asked if i was ok?...and lets do a short cut back home!

So i'm back home  and very tired  and sore!

foundation - powder - blush - shadow - lips

now.... if i really feel like it - brows + liner

curling iron - hairspray - OY
