@SouthernBee ...I am so very sorry for all that you are going through...Shame on your Gastro Dr. for not getting back to you....Has the Wellness Center that you also go to for care been of any help whatsoever, although I do understand that it is your Gastro Dr. Specialist who should be actively involved in your care.

Be sure to call the office first thing Monday morning and give them an earful of what you are going through...Better yet, show up at the office and let loose, if you know what I mean!...lol...That should spring them into action!  😠

Meanwhile, you've received some helpful suggestions here so, hopefully, you will be able to get some comfort over the weekend!

i dont have a dedicated mug with vent

i use any container with the appropriate lid

i use the largest one which fits over my KA mixer bowl when i'm waiting for the bread to rise

i use them to put a lid when storing stuff in fridge

1 is extra small which goes over a small mug when steeping tea

i found them to be immensely useful and easy to clean bc no ridges like screw on stuff

again - this isnt what u are looking for and i talked ur ear off

I'm so sorry you're feeling that bad.  I sure hope your doctor gets back to you soon with a cause for it all!

No Christmas shopping for me anymore.  I don't exchange gifts with anyone and the family is all grown so I don't even send any anymore.

Besides it's raining today so I'm glad I don't have to go out.

I don't use a mug on the few occasions I make oatmeal.  I just use a bowl and my plastic microwave cover.  So I'm no help at all!  Good luck finding something you can use.

i bought it off the rainforest site - comes in a variety of colors

i bought the blue one - it is translucent- uinless it has changed

so it is kinda pretty -

@Yahooey @cowboy sam @geezerette @qualitygal : We have been without cable, phone and internet, but have cell phones. We were notified last week that cable provider would be doing work in our area and expect outages. No notification today , but service down.😮😮

@Yahooey : I ordered a set of silicone covers similar to what you posted.

My microwave is above my cook top and I am getting shorter and therefore difficult to put some items in the microwave. I was thinking that it would be easier to use a cup with handle , plus make it easier due to my mobility issues. I decided to try this mug and with reduced price.😊
